I shift gears as soon as I am outside the gates and zoom off.
The call from Junho is still ongoing and he remains silent on the other end, he has some of the answers I need, and I need to attend to them as quickly as possible.
I sigh heavily and press down on the gas pedal, I couldn't tell Seoha goodbye before I left, I didn't even wait to see his face.
If I see him, I might change my fucking mind and rethink leaving or doing anything else but watching him breathe.
'Jaemin is back' Choyeon's words return to my mind and I scoff.
That omega is no longer needed; his relevance has expired. Sooin is growing up quickly and has mostly forgotten about him except when she has nightmares.
And these days, those nightmares rarely show up…because of Seoha.
