I made a big mistake.
Fuck.
I had already burst into the restaurant before I realized what I was doing, but none of that matters in this moment.
Sooin needs me. She is crying with one little hand over her face.
It's not the usual sobs and sniffle of when she's hiding her emotions. This one is big and loud; it's the cries of a child that is throwing a tantrum.
I let out a breath of relief. She's okay.
During my life as a father, I have always avoided being seen with Sooin in public. I would rather send Junho or Yuki than go with her.
I have hidden from my world since the day she was born till now, but hearing that she's crying in the middle of a restaurant forced my body to move even before I would think it through.
This is my daughter, the apple of my fucking eye.
My mafia world and its paranoia be damned. I will stand for her, will stand with her, and will stand by her.
