Leaving Seoha in this warm room is proving to be the most difficult task in my life.
I stand with my hand on the door handle, watching as he falls into a deep sleep again, lips parted as he breathes through his mouth.
Fuck.
It's taking everything in me not to take my shirt off and lie next to him. I desperately want to spoon him and continue to feel the round bump of our pup.
"Excuse me" my sister pushes her way into the room with a plastic bowl of cool water and a small towel.
"If his health is still bad by noon, I'll take him to the hospital" she says without looking at me, and I continue to stare at the omega wearing my mother's ring.
Am I putting him through my mother's fate too?
I made him stay in the rain, I made him travel between continents, and now I'm threatening his future.
No.
I'll come back and fix everything for him. Letting go of him is not in my dictionary. Mountains do not forgive.
