"Hello, girls, how are you?" Dannep asked, trying not to be rude.
"Oh, look, Tayla, the girl doesn't bow when she greets us anymore, seems like being next to the strongest woman in the world gave her some guts."
Dannep rolled her eyes after hearing Margaret; if she had been the Dannep from before, she might have succumbed to such words.
But now it wasn't necessary, Ilyss had paid for her sister's treatments, she didn't depend on Cythian, she had been kidnapped, had a dragon in front of her about to kill her, and she saved some orphans.
Why would she be intimidated by two of her former companions whom she had always hated in her heart? Even she herself was surprised by the courage she had.
She was at Ilyss's side, if she wanted she could slap both girls and they wouldn't be able to do anything. The thought crossed Dannep's mind before she responded:
"I'm sorry, girls, if you don't have anything else to say, I'd like to be alone," but Dannep responded politely.
