The letter in Dannep's hands grew heavier as she reread its contents over and over again.
"Shit, but how did she find out I was here? NO, leaving that aside, what does she want from me?" Dannep raised her gaze to look at the princess of Viremonth, who wasn't even looking at her.
Cythian was surrounded by people, answering and talking as always, which annoyed Dannep even more.
"But I can't refuse, she's playing with her life and Layla's life," Dannep began to think.
It was obvious that Cythian was using her sister so Dannep wouldn't be able to refuse. It was also obvious from the move that Cythian wanted to talk to Dannep alone, so telling Ilyss was out of the question.
The other problem was that Cythian was playing with her own life. Dannep had a certain hatred toward Cythian, but she didn't want her to die. Dannep knew that Cythian was a girl who would become an adult in just a few hours; she didn't want that girl to lose her life.
