After the coronation, Enzo and the lords made their way toward the throne room while the rest of the kingdom mourned.

Men, women, and even children came carrying flowers, candles, and black banners draped over their shoulders. Some knelt in silent prayer, while others openly wept for the king and queen they had served for decades.
