Some would glow brightly, some faintly, while others would not react at all.
The ones whose blood made the moonstone glow, no matter how faintly, went on to form the link. The joy on their faces was unmistakable as they bowed to the King before returning to their positions.
For others, the moonstone remained unchanged, refusing to light up or react to their blood at all.
When the werewolves' turn came, the moonstone shone the brightest.
