"how is she?" Enzo asked Lucien immediately after he entered the healer's home.
"She is fine, just a few broken ribs and a stab wound. The healer said she passed out due to excessive blood loss and the injuries she had already sustained," Lucien said.
Enzo nodded, but the tension in his face did not disappear.
His eyes moved toward the room Arabella had rushed into with Sophia. He had wanted to follow her, but he knew she needed space. She had just watched her best friend get stabbed in front of an entire kingdom, and there was nothing he could do to make that sight disappear from her mind.
He eventually walked over and sat beside Lucien.
For a moment, neither man spoke.Enzo's thoughts were still on everything that happened in the arena.
The image of Sophia collapsing and Arabella screaming. And Elara standing there with that smile on her face.
"What did you observe about the fight between Sophia and Elara?" Enzo finally asked thoughtfully.
