Arabella stayed alone in the garden for a while, allowing the cool night air to wash over her. Slowly, her tears stopped, and she decided to remain there a little longer, just to breathe and clear her head.
For the first time since everything had happened, she allowed herself to sit quietly without thinking about the anything, the prophecy, the Moonseers, or what everyone expected from her.
Then she heard a voice in her mind. "Sophia is awake. She is asking for you."
Enzo's voice came calmly into her mind. Arabella's heart immediately jumped.
"I will be right there." She stood up and hurried back toward the infirmary, no longer caring about the tears that had stained her face.
The moment she entered the infirmary and got close to Sophia's room, she could hear laughter and conversations coming from inside. She could even hear Sophia's familiar laugh.
Arabella's quickened her steps, she pushed the door open, and everyone inside immediately stopped talking.
