Lord Septimus tried to speak, but before he could say anything, wolves and Lycans began filling the arena, attacking and killing innocent people who had been caught in the middle of the chaos.
"You should know how Adrian operates the most. Is it him that uses rogues to attack?" Lord Septimus asked, his eyes fixed on the arena.
Elara's heart stopped for a moment at the mention of Adrian's name.
She slowly turned, and her eyes landed on the Lycans and wolves trooping into the arena. Her anger immediately rose, and she clenched her jaw as she watched everything she had planned begin to fall apart right in front of her.
Why did he have to come today? Why did Adrian have to choose this very day to disrupt her plans?
She drew her sword without looking back and jumped down from the podium.
"I will make sure you all regret coming to the Citadel today!" she declared before running toward the attacking Lycans.
