I turned to them as they both stood there, looking at each other like they didn't even know what I was saying, but deep down, I knew they understood exactly what I was trying to say.
"Why didn't you guys tell me?" I asked again, looking at them quietly. "You had every opportunity to tell me what was going on, but you decided not to tell me."
Lucien already seemed to understand what I was trying to say. He stared at me quietly, his face completely devoid of emotion. He looked at Linda, then back at me before finally speaking.
"Arabella, this is what Enzo would have wanted. He wouldn't want you wasting your life trying to save him," he said.
My face changed immediately as anger began boiling inside me.
"So all these years, everyone knew about a possible way for me to save Enzo, and no one told me?" I shouted, my scream ringing through the cave.
