Arabella grabbed Elara from the floor where she had fallen and pulled her toward the nearby tree before slamming her head against the trunk. Blood splattered everywhere.
"I told you, you are going to die today." Arabella reminded her of what she had said earlier.
Elara tried to push herself away, but Arabella was much stronger than she had been four years ago. Her hands remained firmly against Elara, keeping her trapped against the tree as the sounds of the battle continued around them. Elara struggled beneath her, but every attempt to escape only made Arabella tighten her hold.
The entire place had already been leveled to the ground, with the witches still throwing their fire and Vealor's men continuing to fight alongside the others. Lucien soon left Sophia on the floor and went to help the rest of the men. The fighting had spread across the area, and neither side was willing to back down as the soldiers and witches continued attacking one another.
