Everyone was shocked for a while when Elara's head rolled to the floor. Who would have thought that, despite how strong and frightening she had been, Arabella would simply snap her neck so easily and stand there as though it meant nothing? Everyone present looked at her with fear in their eyes. Elara had been a menace to everyone, and some high-ranking Lords would not dare fight her one-on-one in combat, yet she had just died in front of everyone, her head severed by Arabella, the same woman the entire kingdom had looked down on because of her werewolf heritage.
The people who were still bowing to Enzo began to hail Arabella as well. It was as though the rumors Lord Septimus had spread about them needing Arabella had finally come to pass. If they had known sooner, they would have searched for her instead of enduring that terrible woman's cruelty.
She had returned, and the King they thought was dead had been brought back to life. How powerful was she really?
