The colors in this place were wrong the way a perfect imitation could be wrong. The sky was a shade of blue so complete that no real sky had ever quite achieved it. The grass beneath was green beyond practicality, the kind of green grass never bothered attempting in the real world.
Trees stood with impossible precision, each one exactly as a tree should be. Light poured from every direction at once, yet no shadow formed anywhere. The entire place carried the unsettling clarity of a space built by something that had studied reality very carefully and then recreated it without ever having lived inside it.
The system searched its records and found nothing. That absence did not trouble it in the usual way. Instead, it noted the condition with the patience it had learned when encountering things too large for even itself.
