Eventually, the conversation came to an end. Noah wanted to speak with Akari alone. The problem was when would he get the chance?
After the gathering, it was decided that Noah's family would stay at the Thornveil Estate for the night.
Fortunately, the Eldritch Duchy and its main city, where Noah's family lived, had not suffered any attacks from the mysterious monsters.
Because of that, Julian wasn't in any particular hurry to return. He had left the city in the hands of his trusted knights for the time being.
After some time, Noah finally managed to slip away from the others.
He wanted to find Akari.
"Where is she? I want to talk to her."
He walked through the beautiful corridors of the Thornveil Estate, occasionally glancing at the expensive decorations and paintings hanging along the walls.
The manor was enormous, with countless rooms and chambers spread throughout it.
Noah eventually stopped one of the servants and asked about Akari's whereabouts.
