Chapter 111 - Chapter 111: Attending Class Together

After the start of the new term, the student life at Ranoa Magic University became much more fulfilling for everyone, as they now had to attend classes on time every day—it was very regular.

However, Dan Feng still wanted to stay in the library reading books all day, just like last semester.

His progress bar had stalled at 49%. It seemed he really needed to complete something to break through this point, but Dan Feng had no idea what that something was, and the system never gave him any hints.

He had asked the High Elder 'Dan Feng', who told him to just go with the flow. Right now, Dan Feng's strength was enough to handle most situations.

So now he wasn't in much of a hurry, and reading books was just a way to pass the time.

"Dan Feng, come to class with me!" That day, the sun was shining brightly, and a gentle breeze was blowing.

As usual, Roxy was waiting for Dan Feng outside the boys' dormitory.

She hopped and skipped over to him, grabbed his arm, her big water-blue eyes blinking pleadingly, full of entreaty.

Dan Feng looked at Roxy with some confusion, thinking to himself: "She's going to a magic circle class—what does she want me there for?"

So he asked directly, "You're going to magic circle class—why do you want me to come? I'm not even a student in that course."

Roxy smiled slightly and explained, "You're just reading in the library anyway. Coming to class with me would let you learn more about magic circles. Though it seems you don't really need to study that knowledge... but! You could learn about the materials needed for some special magic circles."

Roxy suddenly remembered that the magic circle teacher had mentioned this semester they would be studying some special magic circles.

In truth, Dan Feng could learn about magic circles in the library too.

After all, he had already studied the basics of magic circles from books in Bloody Kant. Now he just needed to understand the types and materials.

However, seeing Roxy's expectant gaze, Dan Feng ultimately nodded and agreed to her request.

"Alright." He smiled helplessly.

So the two of them headed together toward the classroom where magic circles were taught.

Along the way, Roxy excitedly shared some interesting discoveries with Dan Feng, while he listened quietly, occasionally adding a few words.

When they entered the classroom, the originally noisy room suddenly fell silent. The entire class's gazes turned toward Roxy and Dan Feng in unison.

Especially those who had some connection with Roxy—they immediately started whispering to each other.

"Hey? Didn't that guy come looking for Roxy before?"

"It's him. Looks like Roxy has some issues—she actually found a lover first!"

"I still haven't found my prince."

As Roxy led Dan Feng past them, they all showed envious looks.

Afterward, Roxy took Dan Feng to the very back row of the classroom and picked a relatively rear seat to sit down.

This spot was exactly where Roxy usually liked to sit. Since it was quite far back, there was no deskmate.

As soon as Roxy sat down, those few girls turned their heads in perfect sync, staring at her curiously, clearly full of questions about her relationship with Dan Feng.

Seeing this, the corners of Roxy's mouth curved up slightly, revealing a sly smile.

She thought to herself smugly: "This is exactly the effect I wanted!"

So, right in front of Dan Feng, Roxy vividly recounted the events from that day in the labyrinth as a romantic love story, telling it to those girls.

To make the story more captivating, Roxy deliberately emphasized certain parts, making the whole tale sound more dramatic and heart-stirring.

For example, how she accidentally triggered a transfer magic circle and fell into a place where monsters kept appearing endlessly. When she ran out of strength and mana, she fell into deep despair.

Then Dan Feng appeared heroically, with unmatched momentum, rescuing her from the labyrinth.

Sure enough, those girls were completely captivated by Roxy's story, staring in stunned silence, utterly dumbfounded.

Because the story Roxy told was practically identical to the ideal love story she had described as her greatest longing before.

Not only that, Roxy portrayed Dan Feng as the light of hope in her life—it was Dan Feng who had given her a new life.

Listening to Roxy tell the story from the side, Dan Feng couldn't help but be stunned.

Although what Roxy said was indeed the real events from that day in the labyrinth, how could she make them sound so miraculous?

"Ahhh, Roxy, I'm so jealous! You found your fated one, while we can't even see a hair of ours." Yuri, the yellow-haired girl, looked at Roxy with full envy, her eyes showing a hint of disappointment and unwillingness.

Roxy smiled and comforted her, "Yuri, don't lose heart. Your fated one might be waiting for you just around the corner."

However, the other girls showed meaningful smiles, and one of them said, "Yuri, that's not right to say. Isn't Ellen almost there too?"

Hearing this, Ellen's cheeks flushed red like a ripe apple.

She shyly lowered her head and said softly, "Oh come on, what are you guys doing? Things with Sakoras-senpai aren't certain yet."

Seeing this, Yuri immediately nudged Ellen with her elbow and laughed, "Not certain? Who went adventuring with Sakoras-senpai over the last break? And you're still denying it."

Ellen's face turned even redder. She gave Yuri a reproachful glance and huffed, "Yuri!"

Watching this group of girls full of yearning for love, Dan Feng's heart remained as calm as ever.

He sat quietly to the side, his face showing no unusual expression—still as composed as usual, seemingly unaffected by their teasing.

At that moment, Dan Feng suddenly felt something extra in his hand. The sensation was subtle, a gentle force touching his palm.

He looked down in surprise and found that it was Roxy's small hand reaching over on her own initiative.

Before he could react, Roxy's small hand began to linger in his palm, as if exploring something.

Then, Roxy's small hand intertwined tightly with Dan Feng's fingers.

Dan Feng gazed at their interlocked fingers, feeling that warmth and intimacy.

His gaze slowly lifted until it settled on Roxy.

At this moment, Roxy was focused on listening to the girls' conversation, seemingly unaware of how bold her action was.

However, when Dan Feng's gaze met hers, her cheeks gradually flushed with a blush.

That blush added a touch of shyness to her already cute and charming face.

Even so, Roxy did not avoid Dan Feng's gaze. Instead, she bravely met his eyes, a sweet smile lingering on her lips.

Seeing Roxy's smile, Dan Feng felt as if his heart was enveloped by a warm current.

For some reason, the corners of his own mouth unconsciously rose to match Roxy's smile, revealing a faint one.
