"Really? Just casually viewing someone's past like that is way too overpowered, isn't it?" Roxy's eyes widened in disbelief as she stared at Kishirika standing in front of Dan Feng, clearly shocked and baffled by the ability she claimed to possess.
According to what she said, this ability sounded eerily similar to that of Hitogami.
Seeing their reaction, Kishirika showed a smug smile. She puffed out her currently completely flat chest and proudly declared, "Of course it's real! This one's ability is incredibly powerful!"
Hearing Kishirika speak with such confidence, Dan Feng's brows furrowed slightly as a wave of doubt rose in his heart.
He recalled what he had heard from the Dragon God Orsted about Hitogami's future sight—that only Hitogami possessed the unique ability to view others' pasts and futures, and that this power was one-of-a-kind in the world.
While Dan Feng was lost in thought, Kishirika suddenly sensed his skepticism and shouted in dissatisfaction, "Hey! You there—how dare you doubt this one's ability!"
Dan Feng snapped back to reality. Expressionless, he looked at Kishirika and said calmly, "Although you claim to be the Demon World Great Emperor who died who-knows-how-many years ago, I still remain skeptical about your ability."
He decided to probe this little loli first and see exactly how much she really knew.
So Dan Feng asked directly, "Have you ever heard of the name Hitogami?"
To ordinary people, the term "Hitogami" might be completely unfamiliar—even if they heard it, it wouldn't attract much attention.
After all, who would question the authenticity of a title they had never heard of?
Most ordinary people only knew of the Seven Great Powers and nothing beyond that.
"You actually know about Hitogami?!" Kishirika's expression changed dramatically the moment Dan Feng uttered the name. She never expected this human to know the word "Hitogami."
"The one who can view others' pasts and futures is Hitogami's ability."
"Ahahaha, so I got exposed by a human after all. I was originally planning to use that lie to scam some money," Kishirika said, immediately giving up the struggle once Dan Feng accurately stated Hitogami's ability.
Very few people knew the name Hitogami, yet this human had spoken both the name and the ability—so there was no point in Kishirika continuing her fabrication.
Roxy showed an exasperated expression after hearing her words. "How could anyone possibly fall for something like that?"
Then her expression shifted back to that tsundere look as she loudly declared, "Although seeing through the past isn't my ability, I really am the Demon World Great Emperor Kishirika Kishirisu! I can only see through a person's true nature using my Demon Eyes."
"Then how do you prove you're the Demon World Great Emperor?" Roxy pressed, her curiosity piqued after listening to the exchange between Dan Feng and the little girl.
If she really was the Demon World Great Emperor, then she and Dan Feng had just encountered yet another legendary figure.
"Ohohoho, so you're already asking for the reward for rescuing the Demon World Great Emperor? Fine! What do you want?" Kishirika let out a bell-like laugh, hands on her hips as she raised her small, delicate head with an arrogant yet adorable expression.
If not for her distinctive way of speaking, most people would probably mistake her for an innocent little girl deliberately acting cute.
Dan Feng and Roxy exchanged glances. Both saw a trace of confusion and bewilderment in each other's eyes.
After all, Kishirika had abruptly changed the subject and was now spouting such chuunibyou lines—it was hard to follow.
"Dan Feng, do you really think she's the legendary and fearsome Demon World Great Emperor Kishirika Kishirisu?" Roxy whispered cautiously to Dan Feng.
Dan Feng was silent for a moment before slowly replying, "Maybe. According to the books, Kishirika does have the ability to revive, and the timing lines up with roughly these past few years."
Right after he spoke, Kishirika seemed to overhear their conversation and suddenly interjected, "What are you two whispering about over there? If you have any questions, just ask this one directly!"
Dan Feng steadied himself, looked seriously at Kishirika, and asked, "Can you achieve world peace?"
Kishirika answered without the slightest hesitation, "This one cannot!" Her tone was exceptionally firm, as if the question didn't even require thought.
If she really had that kind of power, she would have unified the world long ago.
"Then I want infinite wealth—the kind that means Dan Feng and I never have to work again in our next life!" Roxy said seriously, already beginning to fantasize about their future life together.
"This one is about to starve to death. If I had that kind of ability, I wouldn't be here right now!" Kishirika continued shaking her head helplessly, clearly dissatisfied with her current situation.
Dan Feng looked at Kishirika, his expression still calm. He slowly asked, "Then what can you do?"
Kishirika perked up slightly and answered, "This one can bestow Demon Eyes upon the two of you!"
"Demon Eyes?" Dan Feng's brows furrowed slightly—he seemed somewhat unfamiliar with the term. After thinking for a moment, he said, "Besides the Magic Power Eye and the Charm Eye, are there others?"
Kishirika nodded and explained, "There's also the Recognition Eye—it will tell you anything this one knows. The Clairvoyant Eye does exactly what the name suggests: see through objects. The Farsight Eye lets you see distant situations. The Mana Absorption Eye can absorb mana, but if a magician uses it, they might end up absorbing their own mana too, so it's not recommended."
"And there's also the Demon World Great Emperor's personally recommended Foresight Eye! It lets you see what will happen one second later."
"But people used to complain that seeing only one second ahead was useless. They had no idea how powerful the Foresight Eye truly is—even the Hero Ars's attacks could be foreseen one second in advance."
Kishirika explained all the Demon Eye abilities she could grant, leaving it up to Dan Feng and Roxy to choose.
While Dan Feng and Roxy were discussing, Kishirika suddenly realized that the power in her body had not fully recovered yet—she could only afford to bestow one Demon Eye at this moment.
"Damn it! Why did I revive early? This one hasn't even regained all her abilities yet!" Kishirika said angrily.
"Um… right now, this one only has enough power to grant one Demon Eye. If you'd like, I can also give you one piece of information, or wait until my strength recovers and grant you another later," Kishirika said to Dan Feng and Roxy.
She felt no shame in failing to live up to her earlier grand claims—after all, she was the Demon World Great Emperor Kishirika Kishirisu. As long as Laplace never found out, it was fine.
