Chapter 35 - Chapter 35 – Domains Collapse

The last fracture from Domain Destroyer spread like a crack across the sky.

For a single second—

Everything froze.

Then—

The remaining fragments of all five shattered Domains finally gave up.

The air split apart with a thunderous rupture.

Across the ruins of Tokyo Jujutsu High, glowing barrier shards dissolved into nothing.

The layered space that once crushed reality—

Collapsed completely.

The Backlash

When Domains break violently, they don't disappear quietly.

They retaliate.

A shockwave of unstable cursed energy erupted outward from the collapse point.

Kinji Hakari was thrown across the field, smashing into broken stone.

Choso coughed blood as residual pressure tore through his chest.

The barrier master fell unconscious instantly.

Even Yuta Okkotsu staggered backward, Rika shielding him from the worst of the backlash.

At the epicenter—

Toji Fushiguro stood unmoved.

Not untouched.

His body was torn.

Blood ran freely down his arms and legs.

But the collapsing Domains had nothing to latch onto.

No cursed energy signature.

No anchor.

The backlash passed around him like wind around a stone.

Silence After Supremacy

The battlefield returned to normal physics.

Rain fell naturally.

Gravity stabilized.

Sound returned.

And with it—

Fear.

Hakari struggled to his feet.

"They're… all gone."

Choso stared at the sky.

"Five Domains…"

"Destroyed."

Not countered.

Not neutralized.

Erased.

The Power Vacuum

Yuta wiped blood from his lip.

His expression changed.

Serious had become something else.

Calculation.

Without Domains—

Their greatest weapon was gone.

Toji took a single step forward.

The sound of his boot on wet concrete echoed loudly.

"You relied on territory," he said calmly.

"That's over."

Rika growled defensively.

Yuta lifted his blade again.

"We don't need a Domain to kill you."

Toji smirked faintly.

"Good."

"Because I don't need one to win."

The Psychological Shift

The collapse did more than destroy space.

It destroyed confidence.

Sorcerers believed Domains were absolute.

Peak technique.

Unavoidable.

Now—

That belief was cracked.

Toji wasn't just physically dangerous.

He was ideologically dangerous.

If Domains could fall—

Then supremacy could fall.

The entire system trembled.

Watching Eyes

Far away, inside darkness—

Ryomen Sukuna laughed softly.

"So the cage is broken."

"How exciting."

His eyes gleamed with growing interest.

"Break more."

The Shift to Phase Two

Back on the battlefield—

Yuta tightened his grip.

"Formation change," he ordered quietly.

Hakari and Choso repositioned.

No more layered techniques.

No more territory warfare.

This would become something else.

Close-range execution.

Team assault.

Brutal and direct.

Toji rolled his shoulder slowly despite the injury.

The black blade rested loosely in his hand.

The storm had ended.

But the war had evolved.

Five Domains had fallen.

And now—

The real battle would begin.
