Chapter 12 - Chapter 12 – Sister Yuehua, You’re Blushing

"So, including the two of us, Yuexuan only has four teachers now?"

Fu Ye looked slightly surprised. Tang Yuehua nodded.

"Yes. There aren't many students. Although I founded Yuexuan, I mainly focus on cultivating temperament, speech, etiquette, and guqin. The calligraphy, painting, and chess lessons are handled by the other two instructors."

Fu Ye nodded. After all, she was only a Rank 9 Soul Master. Her energy was limited.

"So what about me? Am I your little assistant, Sister Yuehua?"

A faint smile curved Tang Yuehua's lips.

"You could say that. With you here, I can relax a bit."

She stretched lazily in the sunlight, her delicate face carrying a rare look of ease.

"By the way, I still don't know your level or Martial Spirit. Is it convenient to tell your sister?"

The way Fu Ye kept calling her "sister" pleased her immensely.

After all, who could resist a handsome, perfectly built young man following behind you calling you sister?

Tang Yuehua was only a little over twenty herself. Deep down, she still held expectations for sweet romance.

"As for me, I'm seventeen this year. My Martial Spirit is a sword. My soul power is… passable."

His answer was vague—but not a lie.

Given his strength, overturning the entire continent would still count as "passable."

"You're only seventeen?"

Tang Yuehua found it hard to believe. From her perspective, he looked closer to twenty.

"Still half a year away from eighteen."

He shrugged helplessly. High cultivation levels tended to distort one's perceived age.

"What about Sister Yuehua? I feel like you're about the same age as me."

Asking a girl's age was rude?

He didn't believe that nonsense.

Tang Yuehua rolled her eyes at him.

Who asks a girl's age so directly?

Fu Ye chuckled casually.

Then, before she could react—

He sat beside her and gently took her hand, interlocking their fingers.

He lifted their joined hands between them.

"Sister Yuehua's hands are beautiful. Just like mine. I guess you're only eighteen, right?"

The entire motion flowed naturally.

Tang Yuehua hadn't even had time to resist.

His words were sweet, and although his actions were slightly bold, she already held some goodwill toward him.

Fu Ye glanced at his system.

[Tang Yuehua – Affection: 55% (We are good friends)]

Without some affection, she would never have invited him to join Yuexuan.

Did he max out his looks and temperament for nothing?

Before she could respond, Fu Ye gently released her hand and turned her palm upward between them.

"Sister Yuehua, do you know what this line is? Your career line. It rises straight upward—just like how you founded Yuexuan."

He might not understand girls perfectly—

But he knew how to create topics.

Tang Yuehua was 173 cm tall.

He was 185 cm.

In his eyes, she felt like a little sister.

"Hm? Then what's this one? It's so long."

"That's your life line. You'll live to a hundred."

While chatting, Fu Ye casually rested his right arm over her shoulder.

When pursuing a girl, timing was everything.

If you didn't close the distance, how would anything progress?

Force? Money?

Too crude.

They talked for a long time.

Fu Ye told amusing stories. Tang Yuehua gradually shared her inner worries.

Without realizing it, nearly an hour passed.

They didn't cross any real boundaries.

Romance was about feeling.

He rested his head on her shoulder occasionally, teasing her until her cheeks flushed red.

He never crossed the line.

But he tested everything just before it.

Pinching her cheek.

Whispering softly into her ear.

Small gestures that heated things quickly.

Of course—

If someone ugly, overweight, and balding tried this, they'd get beaten out the door.

Fu Ye could act this way because the system had maxed out his appearance and aura.

If it were any other student daring to behave like this with Tang Yuehua?

The guards' spears would answer.

Even if her soul power was low, she was still an honored guest of the Heaven Dou Empire and a direct descendant of the Clear Sky Clan.

The sun gradually set.

Fu Ye figured it was time to leave.

But not before teasing her a little more.

"Fu Ye… what exactly is your strength?"

Her cheeks were still rosy.

She had never felt this strange fluttering sensation before.

Without noticing, she had let him hold her for nearly an hour.

"Sister Yuehua, asking a gentleman's soul power level is rather impolite, you know."

She turned her head away, pretending to be annoyed.

But Fu Ye had already pulled her into his arms.

How could she avoid looking at him now?

His left hand holding her shoulder slid upward and gently lifted her chin, turning her blushing face back toward him.

As his face drew closer, her heart pounded violently.

Inside her mind, two little figures argued.

White figure: "You can't. You're seven or eight years older. This isn't right."

Black figure: "So what? What's wrong with sweet sister-brother romance?"

White figure: "But…"

Black figure: "No buts! I want sweet love! Go close the door!"

Tang Yuehua's face burned crimson.

She had grown up under strict family discipline. She didn't understand what it truly meant to like someone.

The only person she had ever admired was her brother, Tang Hao.

After founding Yuexuan, she had forced herself to remain composed and distant.

She wanted someone to rely on—

But she had never met someone who stirred her heart.

"Sister Yuehua, why did you close your eyes? I just removed a strand of hair from your cheek."
