Multiple cubs? Did Mira hear this right? She felt like her life was hanging on a thin thread through the birth of her first child and now she was about to have more??!
How many was 'multiple' to animals? Animals typically had 3 – 6 cubs at a go and that was normal so what on earth was 'multiple' supposed to mean in a beast world??? Mira's head raked.
Her eyes immediately shot to the side as the midwife's words replayed in her head, and landed on the man who put babies in her.
"This was all your fault!" Mira groaned, her strength fading again. Another baby was leaving her hole and she knew it. Unlike before, this one was easier to push out. Mira grimaced, her ache voiced out in her groans.
"You're doing really great, mother. You are so strong." The mid wife said. "Well done."
