Ryan walked up to the entrance of the wooden cabin and stopped right at the edge of the doorway. The agitated wind blew forcefully from the outside, making his dark clothes and his hair flutter violently.
He remained in silence for a few seconds observing the mountain landscape, processing all the information he had just received regarding the sacrifice and the girl.
Ophelia also stood up from the wooden bench where she had been sitting. She walked at a calm pace, stepping closer to him, and while Ryan still had his back turned to her, the demon queen added.
"I am completely sure that that supposed awakening as a demon king they offered to Liz was pure nonsense." Ophelia commented, with a tone of voice that mixed with the sound of the wind.
"But what I do believe is that the defective body of the demon king's daughter is something the deity can use to incarnate in this world." She explained with utter seriousness, crossing her arms.
