Amidst the dense white clouds, Ivis continued her flight ripping through the wind with Ryan clinging tightly to her back. The enormous scales beneath the boy's gloves felt cold and hard as steel while they ascended.
She, keeping her gaze fixed firmly straight ahead, spoke raising her deep voice over the roar of the air.
"I did not think there would be an S-rank hero in such a distant town."
Ivis took a small pause in her narration while she adjusted the angle of her wings to gain more altitude. She executed an evasive maneuver with her gigantic body, dodging some moisture-laden clouds without losing the rhythm of her flight.
"If I am not mistaken, that was William." Ivis added with a tone loaded with complete disdain toward the heroic figure of the humans.
"So you knew him?" Ryan asked, bringing his face a little closer to the thick neck of the beast in order to be heard.
