Chapter 55 - The World Still Holds Secrets

Weeks had passed since the fall of the Abyss Lord.

The world was slowly healing.

Villages that were once destroyed by shadow monsters were being rebuilt. People who had lived in fear for years were finally smiling again.

The sky looked brighter.

The air felt lighter.

For the first time in a long time… the world felt alive.

Aria and Rowan had traveled far from the Shadow Realm.

They now stood on a quiet hill overlooking a peaceful valley filled with green fields and small houses.Children ran through the grass while farmers worked under the warm sunlight.

Rowan stretched his arms and sighed.

"I never thought I'd enjoy a normal day this much."

Aria looked at the peaceful village and nodded.

"Peace is something people only truly understand after they lose it."

Rowan sat down on the grass.

"You sound like a wise teacher now."

Aria smiled slightly.

"Maybe the war taught me a few things."

For a moment they simply watched the peaceful world. Then Rowan suddenly asked,

"Do you ever wonder why the Abyss even existed?"

Aria looked thoughtful.

"That question has been in my mind too."

"The Abyss wasn't just a monster or a single enemy. It felt… older than that."

Rowan nodded slowly.

"Like something ancient."

Just then—

A cold wind suddenly passed through the valley.

The peaceful birds in the sky flew away at once.Aria's expression changed instantly.

She felt something.

Something familiar.

Something dark.

Far away on the horizon, beyond the mountains…

The sky flickered for a moment.

Just for a second.

A tiny crack of black energy appeared in the air… then vanished.

Rowan stood up quickly.

"Tell me I didn't just see that."

Aria's eyes narrowed."You did."

Rowan rubbed his face.

"We literally just saved the world."

Aria crossed her arms.

"The Dragon King warned us."

"Darkness always finds a way to return."

Rowan sighed loudly.

"Of course it does."

Aria looked toward the distant mountains again.

"But this time… something feels different."

Rowan frowned.

"Different how?"Aria spoke quietly.

"The Abyss was destruction."

"But this… feels like something watching."

Rowan blinked.

"That is somehow worse."

The wind became stronger.

For a brief moment, a strange symbol appeared in the clouds far away.

Then it disappeared.

Neither of them understood what it meant.

But one thing was certain.

The story of the world was far from over.his shoulder.

"Well… looks like our peaceful vacation is already over."

Aria smiled slightly.

"A new journey begins."

They began walking toward the mountains once again.

Because somewhere beyond the horizon…

a new mystery had just awakened. 🌅 Message for Readers
