A dozen seconds later, Danzo's figure reappeared.
This time, everyone noticed the Sharingan embedded in his arm had all closed shut, and his expression had turned extremely ugly.
Danzo hadn't expected Jie Uchiha to possess a Mangekyo Sharingan just like Shisui's. The two Dojutsu that left him completely powerless made his blood run cold. It was exactly like how Shisui's Mangekyo Sharingan Jutsu, Kotoamatsukami, could alter a person's will without warning.

In just a few short minutes, Danzo had been killed several times by Jie Uchiha. Shisui couldn't care less about his own injuries; he dragged his heavily wounded body forward to stand firmly in front of the elder.
"Jie Uchiha, I originally thought you were a wise young clan head, but it seems you're nothing more than this," Shisui roared. "Only Lord Danzo can bring a new future to Konoha, and only then can the Uchiha Clan have a new future!"
Jie didn't want to waste his breath anymore. Since Shisui's future was tied to Danzo, he could die with him.
"Fire Release: Great Fire Annihilation!"
A small flame spewed from Jie's mouth. That small ember grew wildly against the wind, instantly expanding to blot out the sky as it engulfed both Shisui and Danzo.
"Argh!"
"Jie Uchiha, you forced me to do this!"
With a maddened roar from Shisui, an intense visual prowess was unleashed. Green chakra surged wildly from his body, coalescing in the blink of an eye to form a massive, half-bodied skeleton.
"This is the true strongest power of the Uchiha Clan!" A trail of blood dripped from the corner of Shisui's eye as he shouted at Jie with a twisted expression. "I, who have obtained this power, am the key to changing the Uchiha Clan! Why? Why do you resist Lord Danzo's will? Everything could clearly head in a better direction!"
Hearing Shisui's words, Jie simply shook his head.
There was a reason the Uchiha Clan was called an evil clan. It was because they loved too deeply. When their loved ones were harmed, the intense mental trauma and violent emotional fluctuations would grant them unprecedented, terrifying strength: the Mangekyo Sharingan.
It could safely be said that aside from Jie, every Uchiha who awakened the Mangekyo Sharingan was a lunatic. And now, Shisui had fallen into full-blown paranoia due to his excessive emotional distress. Regarding this situation, Jie knew there was no saving him; it was a lost cause.
However, in Shisui's eyes, Jie's dismissive head shake was a blatant rejection of his ideals. His expression turned ice-cold.
"Now, Jie Uchiha, I will represent the will of our ancestors and eliminate you, bringing the Uchiha Clan back to the right path," Shisui declared. "This is the power of our ancestors!"
The green skeletal arm raised high and smashed down ruthlessly toward Jie.
"Don't!" Fugaku Uchiha exclaimed.
His Mangekyo Sharingan instantly activated as crimson chakra surged around his body. Fugaku knew that Jie was immensely powerful, but the Susanoo was different from other Jutsu. It combined formidable defense and offense into one, making it the absolute pinnacle of the Uchiha Clan's strength. In Fugaku's view, the only way to counter a Susanoo was with another Susanoo.
However, just as Fugaku took a step forward, Hiruzen Sarutobi immediately stepped up, blocking his path.
"Clan Head Fugaku, that child Jie is strong. He will be fine. We should just watch from here," Hiruzen said calmly.
"You!" Hearing the Third Hokage repeat his own earlier words almost verbatim, Fugaku's eyes widened, glaring furiously at him.
A crimson chakra skeleton instantly took shape around the clan head, smashing down viciously toward Hiruzen. Hiruzen hadn't expected Fugaku to actually dare to attack him. Struck squarely by the initial form of the Susanoo, the Hokage immediately coughed up a large mouthful of blood, his body flying backward.
"Lord Hokage!"
"Lord Hokage, are you alright?!"
"Fugaku Uchiha, are you truly going to rebel?!"
Seeing this, a commotion erupted on the battlefield. Encircling Root and executing Danzo could still be explained away by the Uchiha Clan as helping Konoha capture spies and a rogue elder. But attacking the Third Hokage was an act of massive treason. After all, the Hokage was still the nominal supreme leader of the village. Fugaku couldn't exactly claim that Hiruzen was also a spy.
Fugaku, however, paid no mind to the shouts of the surrounding ninja, turning his gaze back to the battlefield. But the sight before him nearly made his jaw drop.
A pure white slash had soared into the sky, and the right arm of Shisui's Susanoo was already severed in two.
The ultimate power of the Uchiha Clan was actually severed? Fugaku couldn't believe his eyes. He subconsciously rubbed them, and when he opened them again, he gasped.
Jie Uchiha was still standing firmly in place, unbothered, while the right arm of Shisui's Susanoo had completely vanished.
"The Susanoo can indeed be considered the absolute strongest power of the Uchiha Clan, but that's only in its final form," Jie said calmly, a mocking smirk playing on his lips. "You can't even reach the second form right now, yet you dare to boast about having the power of a god. I feel embarrassed just listening to you."
"That's impossible, this must be a genjutsu," Shisui muttered, unable to comprehend the scene before him. "How could the power bestowed upon me by our ancestors be severed by you just like that? It's fake, it must be fake!"
Shisui's face twisted into a ferocious snarl as he began to roar madly. Surges of even more powerful visual prowess erupted from his eyes, and the severed right arm of his Susanoo instantly regenerated. At the same time, the green chakra transformed into energy pathways and flesh, rapidly filling out the skeleton.
Not only that, but under Shisui's crazed output of ocular power, the Susanoo began to grow continuously taller, its lower body and legs quickly taking shape.
'To skip directly over the second stage and enter the third stage!' Jie's eyes narrowed slightly, unable to help but praise the feat inwardly. 'As expected of a rare genius of the Uchiha Clan. Ordinary clansmen could never hope to attain this level of visual prowess.'
What a pity he was so thoroughly brainwashed by Danzo that he became an absolute traitor!
"This is the true power of a god!" Shisui's maddened voice rang out from midair. "Die, Jie Uchiha! I, possessing this power, am the true future of the Uchiha Clan!"
Looking up at the towering construct, Jie simply sighed and shook his head.
"I didn't want to use this move originally, but it seems I truly have no choice now."
Crimson-gold chakra began to converge outside Jie's body, forming an exoskeleton in an instant. Immediately after, the crimson-gold skeleton continuously extended outward. In just a single second, a massive half-body crimson-gold skeleton had completely taken shape.
But Jie's transformation wasn't over. The crimson-gold chakra surged madly into his Susanoo. In the blink of an eye, the energy pathways and flesh were fully rendered.
The colossal, crimson-gold Susanoo stood up.
Once his line of sight was completely level with Shisui's, Jie spoke with absolute calm.
"Is this what you call the power of a god? Well, excuse me, but I have it too."
