Just like the Nine-Tails power he received before, both the Two-Tails and Eight-Tails chakra were entirely pure. They contained none of the original tailed beasts' wills. This meant Jie Uchiha was the perfect jinchuriki. As long as he activated the tailed beast chakra, he could use all their abilities, including a full Tailed Beast Transformation.
'Doesn't this mean I can use the Tailed Beast Bomb?!' The sudden realization sparked an itch to test it out.
The Tailed Beast Bomb was a tailed beast's ultimate technique. From what he had seen of the Nine-Tails' Tailed Beast Bomb, its destructive power rivaled the weapons of his previous world. When it landed in the center of the village, nothing remained of Konoha except a massive crater with a five-kilometer radius.
Now, Jie possessed the ability to fire one as well. Whether it would be practically useful or not, he at least had it in his arsenal. And he was a man of action.
Leaving his tent, Jie picked a random direction and ventured deep into the uninhabited forest. Once he felt he was far enough away, he halted his steps.
"Tailed Beast Cloak!"
Eerie blue chakra instantly enveloped Jie's entire body. The dense, feline-like chakra patterns gave him an inexplicably wicked aura. In the next second, the Two-Tails' twin tails condensed behind him, swaying gently in the air.
'The total volume of the complete Two-Tails chakra is about twice the amount of the Nine-Tails chakra I received earlier,' he noted silently, feeling the changes in his body. 'But when manifesting the Tailed Beast Cloak, it doesn't feel much different from those two clusters of Nine-Tails chakra.'
The eerie blue chakra then receded, immediately replaced by a shroud of dark red chakra. At the same time, the tails behind him rapidly multiplied, growing from two, all the way up to eight. Two sharp horns slowly formed on his head, and pale exoskeletal armor plated his skull and arms.
'As expected of the Eight-Tails. It's only one tail short of the Nine-Tails,' Jie marveled. 'The sheer intensity of this power boost is terrifying.'
He could feel the horrific strength coursing through him; every casual movement seemed to violently shake the surrounding air.
'I feel like in this state, even without using Susanoo, I could effortlessly beat the Fourth Raikage like a dead dog!'
If the Lightning Release Chakra Mode was a boost equivalent to going from genin to chunin, then the Tailed Beast Cloak of the complete Eight-Tails chakra was a leap from genin straight to Kage-level.
'No wonder Killer B becomes so ridiculously strong after activating his Tailed Beast Cloak. The Eight-Tails' chakra amplification is insane,' Jie pondered. 'What about the Nine-Tails, then? Naruto reached a level beyond the Kage just by mastering the Yang half of the Nine-Tails' chakra. If I could get my hands on the complete Nine-Tails chakra, wouldn't I be invincible under the Six Paths?'
Jie inhaled sharply, but then something felt a bit off.
'Wait, aren't I already invincible under the Six Paths? Why would I even need the Nine-Tails chakra?'
He tossed the strange thought out of his head just as quickly as it had appeared. He smirked slightly, though it was largely hidden beneath the thick chakra cloak.
'A full Tailed Beast Transformation is too massive. It would be visible from miles away. I'll test it out later when the opportunity arises. But firing off a Tailed Beast Bomb... I could just shoot it and run...he sneered..'
He opened his mouth wide, and immense amounts of Yin and Yang chakra began to gather before him. However, since the system had only rewarded him with pure tailed beast chakra and none of the beasts' inherited memories, Jie suddenly realized a fatal flaw as the energy coalesced: he had no idea what the proper ratio of Yin to Yang chakra was.
'I think I remember it being an 8:2 ratio... but which one is 8 and which one is 2?' he thought helplessly. 'Whatever, I'll just test them both out.'
Making up his mind, he began forcibly combining the massive amounts of Yin and Yang chakra.
"Tailed Beast Bomb!"
Boom!
A violent explosion detonated right in his face.
"Failed," Jie muttered, a plume of black smoke puffing from his mouth. His eyes were filled with annoyance. "Good thing I only used a small amount of chakra, or I might have actually died here today."
But he wasn't one to give up easily. Spitting out some soot, he immediately readied himself for the next attempt.
'If eighty percent Yin chakra is wrong, then it must be eighty percent Yang chakra', he deduced. 'I'll definitely get it right this time'.
Once again channeling copious amounts of chakra, a dense, black sphere gradually took shape in front of his mouth.
