The giant Tenseigan shook under Jie's hand.
A low sound filled the room as the remaining chakra and eye power inside it were pulled out.
Even after helping Jie and Hinata change, the giant Tenseigan still had a lot of power left. It flowed into Jie's body in waves, then quickly moved into the Six Paths chakra seed inside him.
This time, everything was much easier.
The power no longer rushed through him wildly. With the Rinnegan controlling it and the chakra seed guiding it, Jie could clearly feel his body changing little by little.
At the same time, he kept part of his attention on Hinata and Hanabi, making sure the weakening giant Tenseigan did not affect them again.
His chakra became thicker and calmer. His body, bones, and chakra paths also started to change, as if they were being rebuilt from the inside.
The change was not as violent as when his eyes evolved, but it went deeper and felt more permanent.
The absorption continued.
The light of the giant Tenseigan became weaker and weaker, and the huge eye started to shake.
Even the round frames around it gave off faint creaking sounds, as if the whole chamber had lost the force holding it together.
Jie felt there was not much left to take.
Just as he was about to stop and check it, he heard a soft sound behind him.
Hinata had woken up.
Her mind was still hazy, and the pain from the transformation had not completely faded.
When she opened her eyes, the first thing she saw was Jie standing in front of her, his hand still pressed against the giant Tenseigan.
For a moment, her fingers moved as if she wanted to reach out. But before she did, she saw Hanabi lying nearby and slowly stopped.
"Hinata?" Jie turned slightly when he noticed she was awake.
Hinata lowered her head and took a small breath. Her voice was still weak when she spoke.
"I'm fine."
Her gaze quickly moved to Hanabi again, and only after seeing that her sister was still beside them did the tension in her face ease a little.
Jie looked at her for a moment, then nodded. He had wanted to ask her about the way she had been avoiding him recently, but this was clearly not the time. For now, it was enough that they were both safe.
"Your eyes have finished changing," he said. "Hanabi is safe too. We'll return to the ninja world soon."
Hinata nodded quietly.
She did not say anything else. The last trace of panic in her eyes slowly faded.
Jie did not press her. In his view, the fear from earlier had passed, and that was enough.
Just then, a soft cracking sound filled the room.
Jie turned and looked at the giant Tenseigan.
Its light flickered, and small cracks spread across its surface. Soon, with a quiet breaking sound, the huge eye shattered into many powerless Byakugan.
Without its chakra and power, the giant Tenseigan could not stay whole.
Jie watched it disappear without feeling much.
It had already done its job. Its chakra and eye power helped him and Hinata finish their changes, and the rest became fuel for the Six Paths chakra seed. Keeping it would only cause problems later.
Just as Jie picked up Hanabi and got ready to leave, a familiar sound rang in his mind.
"Ding!"
"Detected that the host has defeated Otsutsuki Toneri and destroyed the giant Tenseigan. Rewards are now being settled."
"Reward: one Six Paths chakra seed, quick version; one evolution potion; chakra evolution progress increased by ten percent."
Jie's eyes moved slightly.
The ten percent progress was useful to him now. As for the quick-version Six Paths chakra seed, he already had a better one, so it was useless for him to use it himself.
After checking its effect, Jie quickly understood it.
This quick seed could help someone reach the Six Paths level, but it would be weaker.
Even after the change, the user would only just reach that level. They would have a body close to immortal, but their fighting power would be much lower than someone who truly mastered it.
Even so, it was still extremely valuable.
No matter how weak it was compared to a true Six Paths expert, it was still far beyond ordinary ninjas. More importantly, it could solve a problem Jie would eventually have to face.
As for the evolution potion, Jie only glanced at it for now. Anything related to evolution could not be used casually, and this was not the place to study it.
He put the reward aside.
A sharp cracking sound came from the passage leading back to the ninja world.
Hinata looked up and saw small cracks spreading across the space tunnel, as if it could break at any moment. The giant Tenseigan had already disappeared, and without its power supporting this place, even the return passage was starting to fail.
Her face changed a little.
If this passage collapsed, they might be stuck on the moon.
Jie stayed calm. Now that he had the Tenseigan, creating a long-distance space passage was no longer impossible for him. It would only consume a lot of chakra.
But there was no need to make things harder while a ready-made path was still open.
"Let's go."
Holding Hanabi, Jie led Hinata into the return passage before it fully collapsed.
