It was so hard to breathe all of a sudden. Daniel felt like the earth wanted to open up and swallow him. But at the same time, he felt like he was about to sink and the ground was shaking as well.
He had worked too hard to open this small business, and somewhere along the way, it had become his only source of hope in this world.
The office was small and cramped. It was also something that not a sane person would ever rent. And yet…it was a place Daniel had spent a lot of time. He could not abandon it without a plan-
"I am sorry, kid. But my hands are tied as well. As you know, I am a property dealer, and this single incident has cost me a lot of money as well. So pay what you owe and leave by the end of the day."
That snapped Daniel out of his daze, and he looked at the owner with desperate eyes.
"End of the day? Give me a little more time. How will I ever find a new place so quickly-"
