Daniel had felt desperation in his life before. He had felt it so often that he had become insensitive to it. But for the first time in a whole, he felt like he needed to reach for the window and pull it down. He needed to empty his stomach and get rid of the smell-
"Hold yourself down. It will be fine. You are safe now."
Warm arms warped themselves around Daniel's body and the warmth settled the feeling of nausea inside Daniel. His body unconsciously sank against the warmth of the Enigma holding him and he took in a deep sniff.
Right now, he did not even care if his scent was coming out and what his actions were showing. All he knew was that he wanted to be closer to that source of scent and get more of it.
