For the first time in forever, the air inside the room felt calm and content. Joshua took the seat opposite Ivan and gave him a searching look.
"You are not serious about telling Daniel everything, right? My brother is too foolish and brave. He will surely try to get involved."
Ivan shook his head.
"Of course not. I am going to tell Daniel just enough so that he knows what is happening and is kept busy enough to stay out of trouble. I don't want him to suffer unnecessarily."
Joshua nodded before he relaxed. He looked down at his phone, but unfortunately, his phone buzzed with an urgent call at that very second.
The caller ID said Boss Ren, so he quickly picked it up and attended the call.
"Hello, boss? What can I help you with?"
Joshua asked, keeping his voice in the same calm tone as he always had. He waited for his boss to tell him what the call was about.
