Cilian landed on the bottom, taking the brunt of the fall. He lay there for a moment, his chest heaving, before a low, gravelly chuckle started deep in his throat. He didn't even try to get up; he just looked up at Ren, who was pinned on top of him, disheveled and fuming.
"Haa… What's the rush, darling?" Cilian asked, his voice thick with sleep and a lingering, dark satisfaction.
He reached up, his hand brushing a stray strand of hair from Ren's flushed face.
"Were you looking for some morning action? I didn't think you'd be this energetic after the way you were sobbing for me to put a baby in you last night."
Ren's teeth audibly ground together. He shoved Cilian's face away with both hands, his eyes flashing with a murderous light.
"Go to hell, Cilian! Just go to hell!" Ren yelled, his voice cracking.
He was angry. He was upset. He was beyond mortified. Begging Cilian to get him pregnant?
That was the last thing he wanted.
