Chapter 168 - Chapter 168

"I'll still look," Hermione said stubbornly.

- Look for it. If you do find it, that will be wonderful.

"I think I'll go to the library right now," Hermione said, excited by the idea.

- Commendable zeal.

"Richie, are you with me?" Hermione asked.

"No, sorry. I'd be delighted to accompany a lovely young lady like you, but unfortunately, I have a whole bunch of things to do. Business... Just because I'm far away from it at school doesn't mean it's going away."

- Okay, sorry. It must be hard to run a business at such a young age?

"It's not easy, Hermione. Very difficult. But what can I do? I'm a Rich, and that means I have to be the best."

After Hermione left for the library, Richard called Fred Weasley and arranged a meeting. Fred invited the young Lord to his secret underground laboratory, where Richard immediately headed.

Fred and George were eagerly awaiting their guest. As soon as the door closed behind Richard, Fred said:

"Good afternoon, Lord. If you're asking about a new development, we don't have anything ready yet."

- Greetings, gentlemen.

Richard bowed politely to the twins.

"Fred, where are our manners?" George said. "Good afternoon, great and incomparable Earl."

"Oh, indeed," Fred clasped his hands. "We're glad to welcome you to our lab."

"Gentlemen," Richard's gaze swept the room and paused briefly on the cauldron sitting on the fire. A bluish liquid bubbled within. "Please forgive my sudden visit. I have confidential matter of the utmost importance to discuss with you."

"Yes, yes," Fred stared at Richard with curiosity.

"Gentlemen, this is a very dangerous business. Are you prepared to take the risk?"

"Richard, tell me already," George said, burning with curiosity.

- Gentlemen, on June 5th after lunch, two people will need to be eliminated for several hours: Professor Quirrell and Professor Snape.

"Eliminate?!" George asked in horror.

"Eliminate the professors?!" Fred asked delightedly.

- Temporarily, gentlemen. Temporarily! They should be unable to patrol for three to five hours, maybe longer. Can you handle it?

"Well..." George drawled, looking deeply thoughtful. "It's complicated and actually quite large-scale and dangerous."

"The price of the question..." said Fred.

"Good question, gentlemen," Richard smiled, realizing that since the conversation had turned to money, the boys would agree. "A thousand Galleons. And if you happen to be caught and severely punished, I'll compensate you for the inconvenience. But it's highly preferable that you not be caught."

The twins exchanged glances and stared at each other for a moment. Broad smiles adorned their faces. They turned to Richard and said simultaneously:

- We agree!

"That'll be the joke of the century," Fred added.

"Oh yes, brother," George agreed with him.
