"What's up?" Su Qingwen's voice on the other end was cool and distant.
"Senior, wanna go for a drive?" Lin Feng leaned back in his seat, grinning.
"Where are you?" she asked.
"I'll send you my location!"
He hung up, fired off his GPS pin. Ten minutes later, Su Qingwen appeared in his sights.
Today, she had her hair in a neat ponytail, showing off her smooth, full forehead and delicate face. Simple white tee, light blue jeans, canvas sneakers — she looked like the girl next door, pure and clean.
The contrast with the way she'd writhed on the bed a couple of days ago was insane.
"Get in!" Lin Feng rolled down the window and waved.
Su Qingwen strode over in her long legs and slid into the passenger seat.
It was her first time in such a luxury ride — the refined interior and futuristic tech made her tense, hands unsure where to go.
"Let's hit the beach?" Lin Feng started the engine.
"No."
She shook her head and turned to look at him seriously. "I came because I need to clear the air in person."
"Huh? What about?"
Lin Feng blinked — then noticed the data panel above her head had changed drastically:
Name: Su Qingwen
Corruption Value: 70
Corruption Weakness: None
It had dropped from 91 to 70, and "None" now sat where a weakness used to be.
Ah. I see.
Her most urgent need before was a new phone. Now that she had it and her vanity was fed, she wanted to pretend none of it happened.
She wanted to wipe the slate clean.
Sure enough, Su Qingwen clutched her pink new phone, voice tight. "What happened before… let's just call it done. I'll pay you back that ten thousand, and… I won't look for you again."
Lin Feng smirked inside.
He got it.
She'd already spent the ten grand, and the phone had fed her ego.
It's like a guy hitting the "sage mode" right after orgasm — all satisfied, suddenly feeling noble, thinking everything's meaningless.
"Alright, pay me back, and I'll pretend I never brought it up," Lin Feng said, tone flat.
"I… I don't have that much right now," she mumbled, almost inaudible. "But I'll get a part‑time job and pay you back little by little!"
"How about this," Lin Feng curled his lips into a teasing smile, "You spend one more night with me, and I'll forget the ten grand. I'll never come looking again."
"No… I can't…"
Something in her wavered, but she shook her head.
She was probably remembering how crazy Lin Feng had been that night — chasing her around the bed, making her feel things she'd never felt before.
She'd shown him her most reckless, corrupted side, and afterward she'd been swamped with shame and fear.
"So you won't pay me back, and you won't sleep with me. What's that supposed to mean?" Lin Feng gripped the wheel, acting as if his head hurt. "If you had the guts, you'd give back the ten grand without touching it — that'd be decisive, and I'd respect that. But you spent the money, and now you won't hold up your end? Doesn't fly, Senior."
"I said I'll pay it back… I will!" she muttered, chin down, voice stubborn.
Right then, a clear voice rang in Lin Feng's mind:
[I'll be a senior in one year, then intern out of town — he won't be able to find me!]
Well, I'll be damned!
Lin Feng's jaw dropped.
This woman had been playing the innocent, pitiful act the whole time — underneath, her calculations were sharper than anyone's!
Last time she almost suckered him into being a backup guy, and now she was trying to ghost the ten grand!
You play dirty, don't blame me for being ruthless.
Lin Feng's face turned cold. No more talking. He eased his foot on the accelerator.
The electric motor unleashed monstrous torque — Vroom! — The car shot forward like an arrow off a bow.
"What are you doing!? I said I won't go with you!" Su Qingwen yelped, startled by the sudden acceleration, hand flying to the door.
"Go ahead, pull it," Lin Feng's voice was icy. "This ride's worth close to two million. Break a door, repair starts at a hundred grand. If you've got the cash, go for it."
Her hand froze on the handle, then snapped back like it had been burned.
Tense, she gripped the seatbelt, not daring to move.
The Yangwang U8 glided smoothly but fast out of the college district. Soon it left the main road, bumped along a rough track, and pulled up beside a deserted stretch of wild beach.
The car sat on soft sand, gray‑blue waves lapping nearby. Sky was overcast, wind howling — not another soul in sight.
"Wh… what are you gonna do?" Her voice trembled, unease spiking.
Lin Feng undid his belt, turned to her, eyes cold. "What do you think I brought you here for?"
"I… I said it's absolutely not happening!" she said nervously.
But her tone had softened — no one was around, so even if something happened, no one would know.
Still, she wanted to keep up the innocent act.
Lin Feng knew exactly what she was thinking and cut straight to it. He pulled up his phone and opened the video.
There she was — that night, writhing under him, all seductive charm.
"You… you filmed me!?" Her face drained of color, went paper white.
"You reneged on your debt, so I had to keep some leverage! I'll give you one last chance." Lin Feng gave a disdainful snort.
"Sleep with me once, I delete the video in front of you, and the ten grand is wiped clean. We walk away even. Or else… I can't guarantee those pics won't end up on the campus confession wall."
He was bluffing — posting that on the confession wall was basically a confession. But he was betting the ten grand still had weight for her.
Sure enough — hearing "ten grand wiped clean," Su Qingwen visibly relaxed.
To her, that money was a mountain on her chest. Getting rid of it and the video in one go was the best deal she could get.
Refuse again, and it'd be mutual destruction.
She was silent for a few seconds… then finally nodded.
