"What's the big deal?" Chen Mo yanked open the bed curtain and said, totally unapologetic, "You guys were talking before without even including me. Isn't Lin Feng saying he'll treat the whole dorm to dinner? I mean, am I not part of this dorm or what?"
"Only when it's about food you remember you're part of the dorm? Before, you looked down on this and that — if you've got such a backbone, then don't eat!" Wang Hao, riding high on alcohol, stood up, clearly about to start another argument with Chen Mo.
"No problem, fine, let's all eat together!"
Lin Feng spoke up. Not only did he not stop them, he actually smiled even wider.
"Fatty, Haozi, if either of you have girlfriends, bring 'em along too!" Lin Feng gave a generous wave of his hand, instantly deflating the brewing fight.
Back in the day, he definitely would've taken the chance to embarrass Chen Mo.
But now? The situation was completely different.
The moment he saw Chen Mo, Zhou Xiaomeng's innocent, shy face popped into his head.
He had just pinned her down, watching her eyes tightly shut, long lashes trembling violently from fear.
He replayed the memory of champagne spraying over her delicate face and chest…
That mix of embarrassment and terror, yet powerless to resist — absolutely irresistible!
Now, seeing Chen Mo, guilt and excitement twisted together in Lin Feng's heart.
Guilt probably made up about 1%, while that ultimate N.T.R thrill took up the other 99%!
He'd been wondering how, after fully securing Zhou Xiaomeng, he'd let her find out that he and her boyfriend were roommates who spent every day together.
Well, guess what? The opportunity had just dropped into his lap!
He couldn't wait to see the look on Zhou Xiaomeng's face when she walked into the private room with Chen Mo and spotted him. It was gonna be epic!
"See that? Lin Feng, who's treating us, didn't say a word, so why are you getting all worked up?" Chen Mo hopped off the bed, shooting Wang Hao a smug glance.
Wang Hao's face flushed red with anger; he glared hard at Chen Mo, but since Lin Feng had already spoken, there wasn't much he could say.
Chen Mo didn't care one bit. He pulled out his phone, dialed a number, and strolled out of the dorm whistling some little tune — clearly going to share the good news with Zhou Xiaomeng.
"When did we get girlfriends?" Zhu Dawei watched Chen Mo's retreating back and said awkwardly.
"Even if we did, we're not as shameless as Chen Mo!" Wang Hao grumbled bitterly. "As soon as he heard it was an expensive buffet, he acted like he was about to invite half the family!"
"Alright, it's settled then — Wednesday night." Lin Feng cut off their complaints with a smile, then swiftly climbed into bed and drew the curtain shut.
Before long, the familiar clacking of Wang Hao's keyboard and the sounds of in-game combat filled the dorm again.
The curtain blocked out light and noise. Lying in bed, Lin Feng couldn't stop the corners of his mouth from curving upward.
He'd thought college life would be colorful and eventful, but not this eventful.
And it wasn't really colorful — it was just one color!
In just a single day, his phone was flooded with unread messages.
He opened WeChat. First up was Jiang Xiaoya's:
[Little Yaya: We're back in the dorm, wanna Daji-ji! [Photo]]
In the picture, Jiang Xiaoya lay on the bed making goofy cross-eyed and tongue-out faces, her glossy lips slightly pouted, neckline wide open to reveal delicate collarbones and a flash of snow-white cleavage.
Lin Feng chuckled. This little minx was getting bolder by the day.
Next came Zhou Xiaomeng's message:
[Mengmeng: We're back in the dorm, don't worry. Try not to drink too much tonight.]
Polite but distant, with just a hint of concern.
Lin Feng could easily picture the conflicted state she was in while sending that — scared, yet unable to resist reaching out to him.
Interesting. So damn interesting.
Then there was senior Su Qingwen:
[Senior Su Qingwen: Tang Tang has been totally out of it today. What the hell did you do to her? Spill it! Need me to do anything?]
Below that, a flood of concerned texts from various female classmates:
"Are you there? Feeling better?"
"We're heading out for BBQ later, wanna come?"
"Hey Lin Feng, should I keep bringing you breakfast tomorrow~?"
…
Phew!
Lin Feng let out a long breath. Now he finally understood why those aloof goddesses always ignored their "simps."
Getting bombarded with messages all day — who's got time to reply to each one?!
For these irrelevant texts, Lin Feng simply ignored them.
Right then, a new message popped up:
[Tangtang: What exactly do you want? I can pay you — just delete these photos. I never did any of this!]
…
Meanwhile, at the other end of the dorm, Tang Tang lay on her bed scrolling through her phone, distracted.
She couldn't focus on any of the funny videos.
Just thinking about what Su Qingwen had said — something went missing from a lingerie store, the cops were called, and tons of students were filming and discussing it — made her palms sweat.
That afternoon, she'd even dreamed she was arrested by the police, and classmates posted "Peeping Tom Who Stole Lingerie" as the headline on the campus forum, everyone pointing fingers at her… She woke up in a cold sweat.
But that bastard "Ferry Me Not Ferry Her" had vanished into thin air after posting those photos, not uttering a word since.
Tang Tang sent several messages with no reply, growing more terrified by the minute. At last, she tried to comfort herself — maybe he was just trying to extort money, and those photos were definitely Photoshopped!
Still, none of that mattered compared to solving this massive mess ASAP!
Suddenly, her phone vibrated.
[Ferry Me Not Ferry Her: I don't want money!]
Seeing that, Tang Tang shot straight up in bed!
He replied!
A mix of excitement and nervousness surged through her.
Excited because, as long as he answered, there was hope of resolving this.
Nervous because she feared he'd demand something she couldn't meet.
Like… if he tried to blackmail her into sleeping with him — absolutely not happening!
She took a deep breath and typed quickly:
[Tangtang: No money, then what do you want?!]
Lin Feng read the message, his gaze landing on the system text floating above Tang Tang's profile pic:
[Tang Tang – Corruption Value: -20]
[Corruption Weakness: Reputation, Purity, Disgust for men who use wealth/status to attract girls.]
Couldn't rush this — needed to play it step by step.
After a moment's thought, he replied:
[Ferry Me Not Ferry Her: I'm a photographer looking for a model. I know you're gorgeous and have a great figure. If you pose for a few sets of photos for free, exactly as I ask, I'll delete everything.]
Reading that, Tang Tang felt relief wash over her.
Of course! The photos were Photoshopped!
This had to be some sleazy photographer's trick to rope in a model!
For photographers, making a few flawless edits was practically basic skill.
