Two Months Later…
Reika: "Ahh… it's been two months now since we came into this world. A lot has happened since then… and not to mention I've been protecting Shina after becoming the Knight Vice Captain in the Kingdom of Shugia. Really… I have come a long way since I came here."
He looked up at the sky, thinking quietly.
Reika: "Shina is my top priority now. I have to protect her at all costs."
He sighed.
Reika: "Since we came here, Shina hasn't really improved much. She did get the same blessing as me from the same Grandmaster… I wonder why she couldn't awaken her powers yet."
He clenched his fist slightly.
Reika: "Anyway, I swore to protect her and I will protect her. Since we started dating… honestly she's the perfect lady. Her smile is divine… ahhh what an angel she is."
He shook his head with a small smile.
Reika: "Anyways… how are the others doing?"
His thoughts drifted to the people who arrived in this world with him.
Reika: "They will seriously power up like crazy… hahaha. If I ever run into one of them, I have to be strong. I don't know how they're living their lives out there… or if their personalities have changed."
He crossed his arms.
Reika: "Well… that's not what I need to worry about now. I just have to get strong enough to protect Shina. And I will make sure she awakens her powers so she can protect herself even when I'm not around."
Reika looked down at his hand.
Reika: "I awakened my own Ultimate Ability weeks after I got my blessing. It's called 'Apostle of Purity.'"
He exhaled slowly.
Reika: "It's really powerful… but I haven't fully mastered it yet."
Its sub-abilities were:
Purity Dominion Absolute Cleanse Sin Reflection Eye of True Purity Sacred Flame of Origin World of Baptism
Reika: "They're really powerful… but what scares me the most is World of Baptism."
His eyes narrowed.
Reika: "I can create an entire domain where corruption is stripped away, false authorities collapse, artificial power systems destabilize… and only true strength remains."
He paused.
Reika: "I would say it's broken… but not really."
He laughed lightly.
Reika: "Why? Because those three people are on a whole different level than me."
He spoke their names slowly.
Reika: "Dranexx Waltarnabi… Lenshi Akube… and Lisa Shuwatani."
His expression became serious.
Reika: "I can't really do much against them if they've truly awakened and mastered their abilities."
He rubbed the back of his neck.
Reika: "Dranexx and Akube are already trouble… especially Dranexx. That guy is a monster."
He remembered that day clearly.
Reika: "To think he was about to go one-on-one with a Grandmaster. And not just any Grandmaster… one of the most powerful among the Top Seven Grandmasters."
Reika shook his head.
Reika: "That explains why I believe I have zero chances of winning against Dranexx. Even back in our world I never won against that dude."
He sighed again.
Reika: "And now in this world he's packing two insane Ultimate Abilities. I call that completely OP."
Then he thought about the next person.
Reika: "As for Akube… he got blessed by the Celestial Grandmaster. That's so damn cool. I mean that's the same Grandmaster Dranexx wanted to throw down with… and she's among the Top Seven strongest."
He chuckled.
Reika: "If Akube already awakened his Ultimate Ability… then yeah, he's going to be ridiculously powerful."
Finally, the last name came to mind.
Reika: "Then there's Lisa."
He looked slightly uneasy.
Reika: "She got a blessing from the Grandmaster of Amatarasu… the second strongest outside the Top Seven."
His voice lowered.
Reika: "Amatarasu is trouble. I've read it in many novels. Those black flames are deadly… they burn through practically any defense and reduce their targets completely to ashes."
He shook his head.
Reika: "There's no way I could compete with them right now."
After a moment he smiled slightly.
Reika: "But… if I grow stronger… I might have a chance."
He raised a finger.
Reika: "A chance of surviving against Lisa at least."
He laughed awkwardly.
Reika: "But Akube and Dranexx? No way. They're too OP for me."
Then his expression hardened.
Reika: "And I pray they never become my enemies in the future… because that would be a serious problem."
He clenched his fist again.
Reika: "I need to grow strong enough that even a Grandmaster would take me seriously."
His eyes burned with determination.
Reika: "And I will get there… for the sake of protecting Shina."
He stood up.
Reika: "On that note… time to head out for training."
A small grin appeared on his face.
Reika: "If I want to get stronger, I need to train every day… challenge worthy opponents."
He thought of someone immediately.
Reika: "Oh… the Captain would do."
He began walking toward the training grounds.
Reika: "I'll go train with him."
