Chapter 13
Keifer's point of view
We arrived at the company. The driver got out and opened the car door for me. I got out of the car and walked towards the company. Just then, Edrix called.
[Brother, I have big news for you!]
"Tell me quickly, I'm in a hurry!"
[Someone named Tripp came to class and is flirting with Jay-Jay, or so it seems.]
Tripp?
"Investigate. I'll come today, we'll meet. Who is this Tripp?"
[Okay Keifer, goodbye]
"Goodbye," I said and ended the call.
Who is Tripp?! And he's flirting with the person who belongs to me!
I walked towards Cylde's room. Before entering, I heard some noises.
"Ahhhh! Cylde...Ahhhhh!"
"Hold on baby, it's almost over."
What were they doing?!
I picked up the phone and started recording. Then I opened the door and saw Cylde and her sister. They were doing what I suspected they were doing.
I continued recording. Cylde hadn't noticed me.
Then she noticed me and stopped immediately.
"W-what are you doing here! Stop recording immediately!"
I stopped the recording. That was enough for me.
"I came to get the company shares back, but I encountered this. I'm sorry," I said.
Her sister, Aylde, immediately left the room.
"Delete it immediately!" Cylde shouted.
"I'll delete it, but on one condition. Give me back the company shares, or I'll spread this video to everyone and you'll be humiliated."
"You!...you!...You! You're terrible! Okay, I accept, just don't send it to anyone," she said.
I handed her the company share file and said, "Then sign these."
He took the file and signed it. In return, I kept my promise and deleted the video.
Tss, I didn't think it would be this easy. Actually, I was thinking of holding a gun to his head. But this is good too...
I took the file and left the room. I met Honey.
"What happened? Did you handle it?" she asked.
"Yes, it was easier than I thought," I said sarcastically.
"What do you mean?"
"Never mind, I'll tell you later."
"Okay. The car's ready, let's go."
"Okay."
We got in the car and dropped Honey off at the hotel. She wasn't coming with us. She wanted to live in London. For a while, anyway...
We went to the airport. Now that my business here is finished, I can finally return to the Philippines and meet this Tripp guy.
When we arrived at the airport, the jet was already ready. We boarded the jet and headed towards the Philippines. I was bored and started reading a magazine. But all I could think about was him...

Tripp's point of view
When I first saw her, I felt something strange. She was so cute. I felt my cheeks flush. But I managed to hide it.
Then, when I entered section E, I didn't notice her at first. Then my eyes met hers. She smiled at me. At first, I didn't recognize her, but then I realized she was the girl I'd bumped into.
When Sir Alvin told me to sit somewhere, I sat in the empty seat next to her. So I could watch her better...
I just watched her during class...
Damn! She was so cute!
Then it was break time. I went to the restroom, but when I came out, I encountered a group of people.
"Heyyy! So you're at this school, huh!"
"Excuse me, who are you?"
They all laughed.
"Apparently she doesn't remember us."
"Then let's remind her..." he said and punched me.
I quickly moved aside. I kicked him in the stomach, and the fight started.
I'd been in group fights like this before. I punched and kicked each of them.
People started gathering around me. Some girls were screaming, but it wasn't screams of fear; I think those screams were for me...
Then the teachers arrived, and I immediately stopped fighting and ran away. At that moment, a voice...
"Tripp!"
I stopped immediately and turned around.
"Jayjay?"
"There's something I need to talk to you about," he said.
I went over to him.
"What happened?" I asked.
"Come with me," he said and led me to a rooftop-like area.
He pointed to the chairs and said, "Sit down."
I did as he said and sat down. He sat next to me and started talking;
"First of all, let me tell you this. If you're in section E, never fight in public. If someone sees you and tells the teacher, they'll immediately suspend you. Also, section E is very different from the other sections. Section E is only full of people addicted to fighting. Seriously, everyone in section E is after a fight. When I first saw you, I didn't know this side of you. But you're pretty good. But as I said, don't fight at school. Otherwise, you'll get into trouble, and let me tell you this: as members of section E, we're nothing in this school. Nobody cares about us. Pay attention to that." She said.
Now I understand why they sent me to section E... I actually thought I'd go to section A because I'm so smart, but they put me in section E. So that's why... but then what was Jayjay doing in this section?
"Everyone's after a fight. What about you? Are you fighting too?" I asked.
"Ahhhh! I got expelled from every school in this city. This is the only one left. I had 48 disciplinary reports at my other school. In short, I'm a psychopath." she said.

"Ahhh, you're perfect for me."
Damn! It slipped out!!!
Her eyes widened as soon as she heard that.
I tried to change the subject.
"Okay, I'll be careful. Thanks for informing me, but I have a question. Who is Keifer? I overheard you talking about the department." I said.
Seriously, who is Keifer? I remember them saying...
"They won't come tomorrow and say we're dating, right?"
"No way, I don't think Jayjay would do that after Keifer."
She paused for a moment, then answered.
"He's the head of the E department. And also my ex-boyfriend. Or maybe I never had a boyfriend. He used me... not just him... the E department... they all used me like a toy... we used to be family. We were always there for each other. But a week ago I learned the truth. Let me just say this. Keifer is very dangerous..." she said.
Tss, Keifer is very dangerous!
He doesn't even know me yet!
I'll show Keifer what's what! How dare he make my girl cry!
"So where is he now?" I asked.
"I don't know, I think he'll be at school tomorrow."
"Okay. You've been through some tough times..." I said.
She nodded. She looked really sad. I can't see her like this...
"Hey! Do you want to skip school!" I shouted.
She nodded and smiled broadly.
That's it! That's how my girl should be!
"Then let's go!" I said, and took her hand.
She was surprised, but didn't show it.
When we got out of the attic, we didn't see anyone in the corridor. It was probably class time...

Keifer's Perspective
"Sir, get ready, we're landing in 10 minutes," said the pilot.
"Okay," I said.
Exactly 10 minutes later, we landed.
My car was there. I got in and drove straight to the school.
I arrived at the school. I parked the car and got out. There were some students. It was probably class time.
I went to the E section building. As I walked down the corridor, I saw two people... one of them was Jayjay... but... but... but... I couldn't place the other one.
It was a guy...
Was this Tripp?!
He was holding Jayjay's hand!
Damn it! How could he touch what's mine?!
After a while, they disappeared...
But E section wasn't that way. Where were they going during class time?
Were they skipping school?!
I went towards E section. I knocked on the door and went inside.
Everyone smiled at me except Yuri, C-in, and Felix. The others just rolled their eyes.
I went to my seat and started listening to the lesson.

Yuri's point of view
The lesson had already started, but Jayjay wasn't there.
Not only him, that jerk Tripp wasn't there either.
I never liked Tripp...
As soon as he arrived, he started flirting with Jayjay.
So annoying! 😠
Just then, the door knocked, and Keifer came in.
The second annoying creature 😠
I immediately rolled my eyes, and I wasn't the only one. C-in and Felix rolled their eyes too. I guess they were angry at Jayjay for what he did.
Keifer sat down and started listening to the lesson.
Maybe he saw Jayjay and Tripp.
I took out my phone and sent a message.
Keifere:
"Did you see Jayjay and Trippi?"
A notification sound came, and Keifere picked up her phone and looked.
From Keifere:
"I don't care about Jayjay, but I haven't seen him, and I don't know Trippi, I've never seen him before."
Tss, she doesn't care about Jayjay.
Why was she with Jayjay that night then...?
Keifere:
"Okay."
And I hung up the phone.
A notification sound came. It was probably from Keifere. I opened the phone, but the message wasn't from Keifere...it was from my father...
From my father:
"Yuri, there's a problem at the company. Unfortunately, we have to postpone the wedding. Also, Angelon knows about it."
The wedding!
With all that's happened, I forgot!
That's right, Jayjay is my fiancé!
To my father:
"Okay Dad, no problem, but please fix the issue as soon as possible."
From my father:
"Okay son. You should be in class, have a good lesson ☺️"
To my father:
"Thank you Dad ❤️"
I hung up the phone and, with difficulty, started listening to the lesson.
But all I could think about was him...

Jayjay's point of view
We cautiously made our way towards the school gate.
There were no students outside.
The security guard had fallen asleep 😴
We quietly opened the school gate and went outside.
If Angelo finds out what I did, I'll be in trouble 😖
Tripp was still holding my hand. To the outsider, we looked like a couple.
We walked a little further and Tripp stopped in front of a car.
The car was amazing 🤩
Tripp took the car key out of his pocket and unlocked the car in front of us.
Oh my god! 😱
It turned out the car was Tripp's!
He opened the car door and said "sit down" with a smile.
I smiled back and sat down.
He got into the driver's seat and started the car.
He stopped at a restaurant. He got out of the car and opened my door.
He was so gentlemanly 🤤
I got out of the car and thanked him.
He locked the car and, holding my hand, led me to the restaurant.
"This is our first date," he said, smiling.
We went inside and sat at a table.
The waiter came and asked what we wanted to eat.
"Let's have steak and salad. Then we'll have cheesecake," Tripp said.
Oh my God! 😱
How does this guy know my taste buds!!!
"Okay sir," the waiter said and left.
"Shall we get to know each other better?" he asked.
"Okay," I said.
"Let me introduce myself. My name is Tripp, my last name is Palma. My family doesn't live here; they're in New York. I came here to study. Yes, the schools there are better, but I got expelled from them, so I came here, and I'm glad I did because I met you. I was born on February 29th. I'm 17 years old. I'm single and have never been in a relationship before," she said.
February 29th? She was born on the same day as Keifer. And she looks a lot like Keifer. Is this all a joke?
"Okay, your turn," she said, bringing me back to reality.
"My name is Jasper Jean Mariano, or Jayjay for short. My parents abandoned me when I was little, but my cousin adopted me. I have an older brother, and I only found out he's my brother yesterday. All these years I thought he was my cousin. I have a fear of blood. I've had two boyfriends so far. I was born on May 29th. I'm 17 years old and single," I said.
He was surprised by what I said.
"You have a brother, and you only found out yesterday?" he asked in astonishment.
"My life is pretty complicated," I said.
Just then, the food arrived. It all looked delicious 🤤
We started eating. We chatted while we ate. The main course was finished, and then the desserts arrived. We ate those too.
We heard noises from nearby. Someone was celebrating a birthday.
Today is February 9th, and in 6 days... it's C-in's birthday...
What should I do... Should I go... No! Don't be silly, Jay... she used you... Stop this nonsense!
I looked at the clock. It was 4:56. School was about to end.
I saw missed calls from Yuri and the other Ulupongs.
I hope Yuri hasn't told Angelo about me...
Just then, Angelo called. I had to answer, even though I didn't want to.
[Where are you, Jayjay?]
I'm at a friend's house, Kuya.
[Why didn't you let me know?]
"I was going to, but I forgot, sorry Kuya."
[Okay, no problem, but be home by 7:30 in the evening.]
"Okay Kuya, goodbye."
[Goodbye Jayjay]
And the call ended.
There was a message from Yuri.
From Yuri:
"Where are you, Jay?"
Yuriye:
"I'm at a friend's house, and Kuyan knows about it too. Don't worry about me. Bye bye."
Yuriden:
"You disappeared after the third break. Have you been at your friend's house since then?"
Yuriye:
"Yes, I was bored, so I went to my friend's."
Yuriden:
"Tripp also disappeared after you. Do you have any news about him?"
Yuriye:
"No, and my things are at school, can you take them home?"
Yuriden:
"Okay, Jayjay, goodbye."
Yuriye:
"Thanks, Yuri, goodbye."
And I hung up the phone. I looked at Tripp. He was paying the bill.
Seriously... what does it mean that Keifer and Tripp look so much alike and were born on the same day?
Tripp came over to me.
"What do you want to do?" he asked.
"I have until 7:30 this evening. We could actually go to the movies."
"Okay then. Since it's our first date, everything's on me," he said.
"Thank you," I said, smiling.
He smiled back.
We left the restaurant. We got in the car and went to the mall. We got out of the car and went inside. We went upstairs to the cinema area. We bought popcorn.
We went into the cinema and sat in our seats. The movie started shortly after. The name of the movie was "Minamahal."
The movie affected me deeply, and I started to cry. Tripp immediately hugged me.
"Please don't cry... I can't bear it... I can't bear to see you like this..."
We separated without hugging. He wiped away my tears and... kissed me on the cheek...
I was surprised, but I didn't show it.
The movie ended shortly after. It was 7:18. I needed to be home in 12 minutes.
We immediately got in the car. The journey was silent. Tripp drove at full speed.
He parked the car near home. There were 3 minutes left.
"Thanks, Tripp. I definitely had a lot of fun today. Skipping school was a great idea," I said.
"You're welcome, Jayjay. Spending a day with you was a lot of fun," he said.
His lips caught my eye. I quickly gave him a kiss and quickly got out of the car.
"Goodbye!!!" I shouted.
I ran towards home and arrived just in time...

Keifer's Perspective
I knew Jayjay was with Tripp. Tripp was probably going to drop Jayjay off at his house. This was a way to meet Tripp. I'm currently a little way from Jayjay's house.
A few minutes later, a car parked near the house. A few minutes after that, Jayjay quickly got out of the car. His cheeks were slightly flushed.
"Goodbye!!!" he shouted and ran towards the house. He went inside and closed the door.
The car started and drove away. I immediately started my car and tried to catch up. He was going pretty fast.
But I caught up and swerved towards him. I blocked his path. He braked suddenly. Our cars were face to face.
Someone got out of the car; he looked quite angry. It was probably Tripp.
He came to my car and tapped on the window. I didn't open the window; instead, I got out of the car.
I saw his face clearly. He looked quite similar to me.
He came at me.
"WHAT'S YOUR PROBLEM!" he shouted.
"My problem is you..."
"W-what?"
"You're Tripp, right...the one trying to take what's mine?"
"Yes, I'm Tripp. First of all, who are you and what is yours?"
"I'm Keifer...and what's mine...Jayjay."
"Tss, so you're Keifer. The one who used and discarded this beautiful girl..."
"Yes, that's me, and I didn't want to use her. Don't talk without knowing!"
"What do you want to do? Why did you stop me?"
"I only want one thing from you. Stay away from Jayjay."
"Tss, are you serious? Did you stop me for this?"
"Yes. Do you want me to repeat it? You heard me, right?"
"Yes, I heard you, and I'm sorry, but I won't stay away from her. I've fallen in love with her, and I'll do anything to get her."
