Chapter 76: Nen Evolution, Greed Island
Time flew by; in the blink of an eye, a full year had passed since that wonderful night. Even Saya Takagi, who inherently gave off the vibes of a losing heroine, had been successfully conquered by Suyan with Yuriko Takagi's help.
Six women.
Over the past year, whether fighting solo or forming strategic multiplayer alliances, they relentlessly challenged the Great Demon Lord Suyan every single night. The sheer ecstasy of those encounters was truly indescribable.
As for how wonderful it actually was?
Demon Lord Suyan could only say that he had unlocked quite a few of the female braves' Defeat CGs. He was winning so hard he went numb.
Beyond those nightly raids, the most important development was everyone's progress in their Nen training. Under Suyan's strict tutelage, the women had successfully mastered every Nen technique he knew. This included the advanced applications of the Four Major Principles—Gyo, In, and Shu—as well as the high-level combat techniques: En, Ken, Ko, and Ryu.
With his guidance, they had also successfully developed their own exclusive Hatsu abilities tailored to their specific affinities.
Throughout the year, the number of zombies Saeko Busujima slaughtered had easily reached the millions. The sheer volume of kills was so massive that Reizan (Spirit Slash) had long since stopped feeding Nen back to its master, almost as if the spirit sword itself had grown utterly sick and tired of zombies.
If this world were an online game, Saeko would likely have a glowing, blood-red "Zombie Terminator" title floating above her head.
Yet, even with that absurd kill count, the future of this world remained unchanged. It was still a doomed planet overrun by the zombie virus.
Fortunately, no one in their group harbored any grand illusions of becoming a savior. No one particularly cared about the world's ongoing collapse. Living their own comfortable little lives was far more important than anything else.
If there was one thing that gave Suyan a headache, it was Rika Minami's sluggish Nen progress.
For the first six months, she made absolutely zero progress. It wasn't until Suyan personally took over her training, pooling everyone's collective brainstorming, that she finally grasped the faintest clue on how to control her life energy.
It took a full year, but today, Rika Minami finally managed to harness the aura within her body, officially stepping into the ranks of Nen users.

Minami Rika's House.
Suyan conjured the Contract Parchment and placed it flat on the table. A honey-tanned right hand gripped a pen, dragging the final stroke of her signature across the paper.
Suddenly, the world lost its color.
The surrounding scenery faded into the sepia tones of an old photograph, and all ambient sound instantly plunged into dead silence.
A second later, the group standing in the living room began to vanish, as if a giant eraser was wiping away a pencil sketch. Along with Suyan, their bodies vanished into the air, frame by frame.
In the blink of an eye, they were teleported to a completely unfamiliar location.
There was no sudden panic or screaming. The moment their feet touched the ground of this strange land, a stream of information was directly implanted into their minds.
[Greed Island!]
That was the name of this world.
However, this wasn't the Greed Island from the Hunter x Hunter universe—the legendary game developed by Gon's father and his eleven powerful Nen-user friends. Instead, it was an evolution of Suyan's own Nen ability, triggered after meeting a set of highly specific conditions.
First, the sheer, astronomical volume of aura provided by Saeko's Reizan laid the quantitative foundation for his ability's evolution. Second, the six women bound to him via Contract perfectly corresponded to the six points of the Nen hexagon.
Shizuka Marikawa: Emission Type.
Saeko Busujima: Conjuration Type.
Rei Miyamoto: Enhancement Type.
Yuriko Takagi: Transmutation Type.
Saya Takagi: Manipulation Type.
And finally, Rika Minami, who—just like Suyan—was a Specialization Type.
Coupled with Suyan's unique nature as a transmigrator, the alignment of all these factors finally catalyzed a miraculous evolution of his Specialization ability today.
Suyan instantly digested the topographical map of Greed Island. His first thought was that it was big. Very big. Unfathomably big.
But exactly how big? He couldn't quite put it into words.
It was like asking someone how big a hundred square meters was, or a thousand, and what the reference point should be. How big is a basketball court? A football field? Some people might subconsciously equate a hundred square meters to a basketball court, which was completely wrong, considering a standard court is around 420 square meters and a football field is roughly 7,000. Most people simply lacked a concrete concept of scale.
But Suyan's gut feeling about Greed Island was that this personal world of his was likely no smaller than the entire landmass of the Island Nation itself.
The group exchanged glances. Though no one spoke, the profound shock in their eyes was mutual. But soon, their attention was drawn to two massive doors standing before them.
They were pitch-black, appearing to be forged from solid dark iron. Intricate, archaic patterns crawled across their surfaces, exuding an aura of desolate mystery.
[Dimensional Gate!]
Information regarding the two doors flowed into their minds. One was the Dimensional Gate connecting back to the Highschool of the Dead world. The other led to an unknown destination.
The only certainty was that it opened up to another universe. Furthermore, no one except Suyan and his contracted partners could pass through these gates.
Suyan stared solemnly at the mysterious door. After a moment of thought, he turned to the girls. "I'll go through that door and scout the world on the other side. You girls head back and start moving our supplies and furniture in. From now on, we'll be living here on Greed Island."
No one tried to talk him out of it.
After a year of living together, not even the people closest to him knew the true depths of Suyan's strength now that he had pooled all their abilities together. Perhaps only Saeko, the strongest among them, could make a vague guess.
Instead of worrying, Shizuka just blinked her big eyes and asked blankly, "Then, little Suyan, are you still coming back for dinner tonight?"
Her single, ditsy question instantly shattered the lingering anxiety in the girls' hearts. The atmosphere lightened up immediately.
"Uh…" Suyan waved his hand with a chuckle. "Don't worry, I'll be back."
With that, he pushed open the unknown door and stepped through.
Where does this lead? Is it the original world I transmigrated to? Or another anime universe?
"Alright, since little Suyan has headed out, let's do as he said. We'll wait for him to come home for dinner tonight," Yuriko said, stepping up to take charge when she noticed the mood slightly dipping after his departure.
Saya immediately voiced her support. "I agree with big sister's plan."
Saeko nodded and turned to Rei. "Miyamoto, I'll need your help in the kitchen later. Let's prepare a lavish feast to welcome Suyan back tonight."
"Sure," Rei agreed without hesitation.
With their tasks set, the girls immediately sprang into action.

On the other side.
Stepping through the portal, the first thing that entered Suyan's vision was a cluster of traditional, ancient Japanese-style architecture built entirely from wood. The bustling pedestrians on the street were all dressed in classic attire resembling kimonos.
Suyan immediately reached out with his senses.
Good. He could still use his Conjuration ability to summon a sub-portal of the Dimensional Gate at will. He could return to Greed Island whenever he wanted, and he could summon the girls from Greed Island to this world just as easily.
Suyan let out a quiet sigh of relief.
So, my next mission is to explore this world, huh?
"Young man, are you looking for a wife?"
Suddenly, a plump, wealthy-looking woman dressed in festive red spotted Suyan. Her eyes lit up. Moving with surprising agility for her size, she power-walked straight toward him and dropped a line that caught him completely off guard.
Suyan's eye twitched. Even if he were to be a sugar baby, he had standards. This was absolutely a hard pass.
He turned on his heel, ready to walk away.
The plump woman panicked and quickly called out, "Wait, young man, don't go! You misunderstand, it's not me—"
After a brief, frantic conversation, Suyan finally realized he had indeed misunderstood. She was a professional matchmaker. She had simply noticed his handsome face, his outstanding temperament, and his high-quality clothes that clearly didn't belong to a commoner. Seeing his prime condition, she wanted to introduce him to a great prospect—completely free of charge.
If this were a blind date in the real world, Suyan would have walked away without a second thought. Staying a second longer would be an insult to his dignity.
But since this was the 2D world?
Even if the girl turned out to be ugly, he felt obligated to at least take a look before leaving. If he ever made it back to his original world, he'd definitely post a thread on a forum titled: Has anyone ever experienced a blind date in an anime world?
