Chapter 103: Naraku Forges Pseudo-S Grade "Infinite Armor" – Ultimate Hybrid Weapon for Hiruzen
Naraku looked at this ultimate stitched-together monstrosity and didn't know what to name it.
Normally weapons could be named based on their abilities or materials, but this weapon had too many of both. Naraku could only name it "Black Stick" for now based on its appearance!
He'd decide the final name later after seeing what it looked like when transformed.
Naraku began examining the weapon's attributes.
[Black Stick: S (Pseudo) grade weapon. This weapon primarily references the forging process of the armor "Incursio" and uses a large amount of precious materials: Orihalcon steel, fine iron, chakra metal, Nine-Tails chakra, Hashirama cells, evolved Tyrande flesh block. Divided into Staff Form and Armor Form. Staff length: 2 meters. The entire staff body is black, with gray patterns wrapping both ends. Possesses "sturdy" and "tough" traits, has extremely strong chakra conduction ability, extremely strong heat resistance and conductivity.
Staff Form Skills:
Heavenly Thunder Draw: Insert the staff into the ground to attract natural lightning. The weapon's owner can freely control lightning passing through the staff to attack enemies until the heavenly thunder dissipates.
Heavy Strike: Infusing Yang-attribute chakra allows a powerful strike with earth-shattering force; power proportional to chakra amount. The immense power and hard material can directly destroy the enemy's weapons and defenses.
Size as Desired: Inherited talent from the monkey clan; the weapon's owner can relatively freely control the staff's length and thickness.
Devour: Direct close-range contact with enemies can devour their chakra; physical contact slowly devours the enemy's flesh.
The weapon's owner can use the Black Stick to summon armor covering the entire body. The armor's sub-weapon remains the Black Stick. Armor Form is entirely deep ink-green. Mysterious runes and patterns are engraved across the armor surface. On the helmet is set a huge red gemstone flickering with Nine-Tails power. The chest features a massive Tyrande pattern. Hand armor can choose between convenient black gloves for ninjutsu casting or hard armored gauntlets for defense. Armor possesses "sturdy," "tough," and "self-recovery" traits, can smoothly conduct chakra.
Armor Form Skills:
Tyrande Form: The armor's primary form; directly enhances the owner's strength and speed with good defensive capability.
Wood Release Form: Stacks Wood Release power on top of Tyrande Form; grants the armor owner advanced mastery of Wood Release.
Forced Healing Trait: The armor can forcibly recover the owner's injuries, stimulating the owner and greatly boosting fighting spirit.
Tailed Beast Cloak: Stacks Nine-Tails power on top of Tyrande Form; covers the armor surface with a tailed beast cloak, further enhancing defense and strength. The armor owner can freely use tailed beast chakra to perform ninjutsu or directly attack with tailed beast chakra, and can condense relatively small Tailed Beast Bombs.
Final Transformation: Simultaneously activates Hashirama cells, Tyrande flesh, and Nine-Tails chakra to transform into a terrifying monster. Every movement of this monster carries immense power and allows free control of multiple forces. (Final Transformation carries the risk: if the owner loses control of their will, they will permanently become a monster and can never recover.)
Energy Recovery: The armor automatically recovers internally consumed chakra; various methods can accelerate chakra recovery, such as devouring flesh or directly devouring high-quality chakra. Devouring flesh accelerates recovery speed and armor evolution speed, but the consequence is that the weapon owner becomes increasingly difficult to control.
Special Skill: Evolution: The Tyrande cells within can promote further strengthening of the armor. Devouring accelerates weapon evolution speed.
Debuffs:
Requires the weapon owner to possess Yang, Yin, Water, Earth, and Lightning chakra natures.
Master-Slaying: The weapon has a master-slaying trait; during use it gradually erodes the owner's will. If the owner's will becomes too weak, they will be completely devoured by the weapon.
The weapon's immense power and complex internal forces place certain demands on the owner's physical strength, and more powerful usage shortens the owner's lifespan.]
After reading the attributes, Naraku knew—this was awesome! Awesome! The armor owner was in for a treat! So many powerful skills—it was downright perverted.
Heavenly Thunder Draw turned the user into a turret, bombarding enemies nonstop. As for ensuring there's lightning in the sky—they could learn from the Second Pillar and use Fire Release on the clouds beforehand to gather them.
Heavy Strike paired with Size as Desired ensured that any casual swing from the owner carried destructive power comparable to standard B-rank ninjutsu.
The later armor transformations were even more terrifying. Naraku read carefully and discovered roughly three levels of transformation states:
Primary: Tyrande Form
Intermediate: Wood Release or Tailed Beast Form
Advanced: Final Transformation
Especially from the Wood Release Form—it granted advanced Wood Release mastery. Naraku suspected this "advanced" Wood Release might reach the level of Obito possessing Yamato, or at minimum allow use of Wood Dragon Technique.
Wood Dragon Technique—Naraku still remembered it: massive dragons produced from trees to bind enemies. The binding strength of giant trees was extremely powerful; Hashirama's Wood Dragon even made the bound Nine-Tails scream, and once entangled it would absorb chakra.
As for things like Wood Release: Advent of a World of Trees—they'd probably be trivial.
These three transformation states ensured the armor owner would become an absolute meat grinder on the battlefield.
But such immense power came with high-level requirements for the owner: strong physique, sufficient chakra reserves, certain chakra natures, and powerful willpower.
Naraku believed that as the "Hero of Shinobi," Konoha's strongest Hokage, and ninjutsu professor, Sarutobi Hiruzen should possess all these conditions.
As for the minor side effects from stitching together so many forces—they were negligible. After all, he gained power, didn't he?
At least with this armor, Sarutobi Hiruzen wouldn't have to rely on Dead Demon Consuming Seal for 1-for-1 trades anymore. Think about it—summoning the Death God with his own life just to seal two hands? How embarrassing would that be?
Naraku's overall evaluation: the armor is excellent. In the future he probably wouldn't need to go beg Sarutobi Hiruzen for it himself—avoiding the awkwardness of giving something away only to ask for it back.
Naraku could guess with his hook that Sarutobi Hiruzen wouldn't be this weapon's only owner.
As for naming the armor—Naraku was hopeless at names. He decided to keep it simple: Infinite. It represented his limitless imagination for the weapon's future as its forger.
In his view, sometimes the completion of a weapon wasn't the end but a starting point. This Infinite Armor and Sarutobi Hiruzen both had bright futures ahead.
