[Maki:Kūra-sensei…]
[Kūra: Maki… A man like Rasa, who betrays his own people, deserves to die!]
[Maki: How could that be…?! Kūra-sensei, weren't you—]
[Kūra: Hah. You should ask SunagaKūre's higher-ups. In order to secure peace with Kiriga Kūre, they chose to sacrifice me.]
[Several Sunaga Kūre Elders (past): Hmph, Kūra, don't spout nonsense.
Even if that's the truth, so what?
It was all for the sake of the village!]
[Kūra: Spare me! A bunch of shameless cowards.]
[Onoki: Hmph. It seems every village has its darkness.]
[A (Fourth Raikage): Hmph! Sunaga Kūre's leadership is pathetic. Kūmoga Kūre despises those who betray their comrades.]
[SunagaKūre Elders: Y-You—!]
[Onoki: Oh? And what do you intend to do about it?]
[A (Fourth Raikage): If you want war, bring it. Kūmoga Kūre will oblige.]
[SunagaKūre Elders: Cough—misunderstanding! It's all a misunderstanding!]
Seeing Sunaga Kūre's reaction only strengthened Nagi's resolve.
After several days of travel, Nagi and the others arrived at the agreed rendezvous point in the Land of Wind.
Nagi extended his senses. Rasa had not yet arrived.
Orochimaru asked leisurely,
"Shall I handle it, or will you?"
"I will," Nagi replied. "I have a technique I'd like to test."
"Very well. We'll take care of the rest."
…
Before long, Rasa appeared with several bodyguards.
Nagi and Ryūma Aburame concealed themselves.
Dressed in the Kazekage's robes, Rasa stepped forward confidently, ignoring Kabuto and Kimimaro as he addressed Orochimaru directly.
"This time, Sunaga Kūre will release the Tailed Beast in the heart of Konohaga Kūre. I'll leave the Third Hokage and the other experts to you."
"Hehehe… There's no need for that trouble."
Rasa frowned. "Oh? Do you have a better plan?"
"No," Orochimaru smiled thinly. "I've invited you here for an experiment."
"An experiment?"
Rasa felt a chill run down his spine.
Suddenly—
Kabuto and Kimimaro moved first.
"Dead Bone Pulse: Camellia Dance."
"Chakra Scalpel."
Kimimaro drew a blade of bone from his arm, while Kabuto formed a shimmering blade of chakra in his hand.
In a flash, Rasa's bodyguards were cut down.
Realizing the betrayal, Rasa immediately acted.
"Gold Dust Cushion!"
He gathered Gold Dust beneath his feet and lifted himself into the air.
At that instant, Nagi appeared beside Orochimaru.
"So it is Yin Release-based chakra after all…"
Orochimaru, Ryūma, Kabuto, and Kimimaro vanished—and reappeared surrounding Rasa.
"Four Violet Flames Formation."
A square, violet barrier erupted, sealing Rasa inside.
Nagi raised his right hand toward him.
"Magnet Release: Magnetic Field."
Four golden electromagnetic pillars materialized and shot outward, forming a square around Rasa. Thin, nearly invisible electromagnetic lines linked them together.
Rasa quickly encased himself in Gold Dust—but the moment it formed, it dissipated.
"What—?!"
He attempted to gather it again, but the Gold Dust slipped from his control like water. He fell from the sky.
"So SunagaKūre's Magnet Release relies on Yin Release's attractive properties," Nagi analyzed calmly.
Orochimaru's eyes gleamed.
"So you used Yang Release-based Magnet Release to disrupt his Yin-based control?"
Rasa landed roughly, chakra reinforcing his feet. Shock filled his eyes.
"Why won't my Gold Dust respond?!"
Desperate, he slammed his hands to the ground.
"Gold Dust Wave!"
A massive tide of Gold Dust surged toward Nagi.
Meanwhile, Rasa used his Gold Dust Third Eye to track Nagi's movements.
Nagi calmly took a small, circular metal disk from his pocket.
He flicked it forward with his thumb. Golden-blue currents crackled along his arm.
Sensing mortal danger, Rasa reinforced himself with Gold Dust armor.
Nagi locked onto him with his sensory perception.
Facing the oncoming tidal wave, he released the projectile.
"Magnet Release: Electromagnetic Cannon ."
In the instant the disk flew, a golden-blue electromagnetic blast followed, firing at nearly invisible speed.
The beam pierced straight through the Gold Dust Wave.
Rasa twisted aside—perhaps the dense Gold Dust had slowed the attack slightly.
Still, searing pain exploded in his left arm.
When he looked down—
His left arm was gone.
His chakra plummeted, yet he stubbornly continued directing the Gold Dust with his remaining hand.
Nagi's left hand now radiated dark chakra. He infused it into the Gold Dust surge.
"What—?!"
Rasa suddenly lost control.
The Gold Dust deformed into countless fine particles, scattering like deadly shrapnel.
"Gold Dust Drizzle."
"No!"
Rasa tried to retreat—
But found his feet bound.
Two sand arms had silently gripped his legs from below.
"You watched above but forgot below," Nagi remarked.
Rasa hastily formed a defensive barrier, but it was too thin.
The golden barrage shattered it.
He was torn apart by his own Gold Dust.
As Rasa lay gravely wounded, Nagi showed no hesitation.
Using the Flying Thunder God Technique, he appeared before him—
And drove the Sword of Kūsanagi through his heart.
…
After confirming Rasa's death, the Four Violet Flames Formation was dispelled.
Orochimaru examined the battlefield thoughtfully.
"So this was your Magnet Release experiment? Yin and Yang applications alike… fascinating."
"Proceed as planned."
Orochimaru summoned a giant serpent, which swallowed Rasa and his guards whole.
Moments later, Orochimaru assumed Rasa's appearance.
