Chapter 47 - Urashiki Ōtsutsuki Descends

"Shibai Ōtsutsuki devoured countless chakra fruits and continuously reincarnated. In the end, he transcended dimensions and surpassed the very concept of life and death.

"He ultimately became a godlike existence within the Ōtsutsuki Clan.

"He has already sensed our Shinobi World. In the future, he once sent a clone to negotiate with Father—but the talks collapsed.

"And so, in our era, there will come a day when Shibai Ōtsutsuki leads the Ōtsutsuki Clan in an invasion of the Shinobi World.

"Father, along with Uncle Orochimaru and the others, has been preparing for that invasion."

Mai finished reciting the contents of the note with a solemn expression.

Nagi fell into deep thought.

So Shibai truly hadn't died… The god of the Ōtsutsuki Clan.

Mei Terumi frowned.

"Transcending dimensions? Surpassing life and death? What does that even mean?!"

Hiruzen exhaled slowly.

"That may already be beyond our comprehension."

Ao muttered grimly,

"Is the Shinobi World truly doomed in the end?"

A heavy silence settled across the world.

Then—

Shika Kū Nara spoke.

"Not necessarily."

The Fourth Raikage looked toward him.

"Konoha's strategist has something to say?"

Shika Kū nodded calmly.

"That child mentioned Shibai sent a clone to negotiate with Nagi, correct?"

Ebizo narrowed his eyes.

"…Go on."

"If Shibai was willing to negotiate," Shika Kū continued, "then he likely harbors some level of caution toward Nagi's power.

"Furthermore, he intends to invade alongside the Ōtsutsuki Clan, rather than attacking alone.

"That suggests he may not be completely confident in defeating Nagi and the others by himself."

Onoki's eyes lit up.

"That makes sense! Negotiations only happen when both sides have leverage—and when the power gap isn't insurmountable."

The Fourth Raikage grinned fiercely.

"Then we're not guaranteed to lose!"

Hiruzen murmured,

"So Nagi is the hope of the Shinobi World's future."

Hashirama laughed heartily.

"Haha! Of course he is. That kid's something special."

Rasa folded his arms.

"The hope of the Shinobi World… Nagi."

Gradually, many began to realize—

Their hope had always existed.

And it was Nagi.

Tobirama snorted.

"Hmph. As long as you all cooperate properly with my disciple and refrain from petty schemes."

Kaguya's voice rang out coldly.

"Impossible. Absolutely impossible. The power of our clan's god—Shibai Ōtsutsuki—is beyond your imagination."

Back in Nagi's home—

"That's everything written on the note, Father," Mai said quietly.

"I'm sorry. We can't say more."

They couldn't even reveal their mother's identity. A time paradox might alert Shibai and cause him to descend earlier than intended.

Nagi shook his head gently.

"You've already told me more than enough. I'm grateful.

"Even if our enemy is a god of the Ōtsutsuki, we will never surrender."

"We believe in you!" the siblings replied in unison.

That afternoon and evening, Nagi personally went out to purchase ingredients and prepared a lavish meal for them.

That night, he shared stories about the Rookie Nine and their growth.

Because Urashiki was expected to target Naruto within days, Nagi spent that time training alongside Naruto and Jiraiya.

Mai and Kū observed from the shadows, waiting for Urashiki's arrival.

Finally, several days later—

Naruto and Nagi were waiting at a training ground in Konohaga Kūre for Jiraiya.

Suddenly, Nagi sensed something and looked up.

A figure hovered in the sky.

Aside from his blue hair, everything about him was white.

He smiled down at Naruto.

"So this is young Naruto Uzumaki? Pathetically weak, just as I expected."

Then his gaze shifted to Nagi—

He froze.

"That guy… ?!"

His expression changed instantly.

"Bad! Run!"

To Naruto and Nagi's bewilderment, Urashiki shot into the sky at incredible speed and vanished.

Moments later—

He reappeared and flew back down, looking as though he had narrowly escaped death.

"Whew… Almost forgot. This is as a child."

Then a dangerous idea surfaced.

"If I kill young now… would future disappear?"

The more he thought about it, the more plausible it seemed.

In an instant, Urashiki teleported before them and thrust forward his red fishing rod.

Nagi was about to use the Flying Thunder God Technique to pull Naruto away—

But a figure appeared before him.

A folding fan snapped open, its surface intercepting Urashiki's rod.

" Mai?"

Indeed—it was Mai.

"Well now, Mr. Urashiki," he said lightly, "you seem rather impatient."

Urashiki narrowed his eyes.

"I didn't expect you to appear in this era as well."

Suddenly, he felt danger.

His body instinctively shifted—

Flash.

Kū appeared behind him in an instant, executing a lightning-fast iaijutsu slash.

For a split second, Urashiki lost all sensation in his right arm—followed by searing pain.

He looked down.

A clean, smooth cut marked his shoulder.

His arm fell away.

"Ahhh! Damn you! Kū!!"

Kū stood beside Mai, katana in hand, expression cold.

"I was aiming for your head."

Urashiki's face twisted with rage. With his left hand, he produced a chakra pill and swallowed it.

Flesh sprouted from the severed shoulder. Bone extended. In moments, his arm fully regenerated.

"Hmph. If I can't deal with himself, I can at least handle you two brats!"

He swung his crimson rod.

"Takami Musubinokami!"

Countless glowing hooks shot forth in a barrage.

"Wind Release: Wind Barrier!"

Mai waved his fan, generating a powerful gust that formed a defensive wall, deflecting every hook.

Seeing his attack fail, Urashiki's Bya Kūgan shifted—

Transforming into a red Six-Tomoe Rinnegan.

"Yomotsu Hirasaka!"

A black portal opened behind him, and he slipped inside instantly.

Kū's eyes never left the space where Urashiki vanished.

Suddenly, he drew his blade—

Slashing toward Naruto.

A black portal opened behind Naruto at that very moment. A thin red chakra thread had just begun to emerge—

Kū's blade cut it cleanly, forcing it back through the portal.

Hashirama's eyes widened.

"So fast!"

Madaranodded.

"Hn. That kid's draw-slash is even faster than Tobirama's sly techniques."

Tobirama scoffed.

"You still have a sharp tongue. I'll take that as praise for my disciple's child."

Onoki blinked.

"What just happened?"

Minato spoke calmly.

"That iaijutsu… If I didn't use the Flying Thunder God Technique, I doubt I could evade it."

The Fourth Raikage crossed his arms.

"Incredible speed. And even sharper reflexes."

Even masters of speed like Minato and the Fourth Raikage couldn't help but acknowledge—

 Kū's speed was extraordinary.
