The moment Vikram's vision stabilized, he found himself standing at the edge of a town.
It wasn't looking like a ruin, nor was it like the Kabold Dungeon.
It was… a normal place.
Rows of houses stretched across the area in a simple, practical layout.
Most of them were small, single-story homes with slanted roofs, while a few stood slightly taller with narrow balconies and enclosed courtyards.
The streets between them were wide. Some houses were intact, faint light flickering behind their windows.
Others were not.
Several buildings bore visible damage, cracked walls, shattered glass, doors hanging loose from their hinges. A few had partially collapsed, their roofs sunken inward as if crushed by heavy force. Scratches and impact marks ran across surfaces, leaving behind silent evidence of repeated attacks.
Yet despite all that, this place felt lively. There are many movements of the people here.
