Seeing that Bushra had fallen into a deep sleep, Vikram quietly got out of bed.
He glanced at her one last time before letting out a quiet sigh. "I'll let her rest..."
Just as he reached the door, it opened from the outside.
Sana stepped into the room. "I came to—" Her words stopped midway.
Her eyes immediately fell on Bushra, who was sleeping peacefully on the bed. Then she looked at Vikram.
A brief look of realization crossed her face. "So that's what happened..."
The corner of her lips curled into a faint, mischievous smile. Surprisingly, she didn't say a single word about it.
For some reason she couldn't explain, ever since Vikram had arrived, she had felt an inexplicable sense of familiarity toward him. It wasn't enough to erase the complicated emotions in her heart, but it stopped her from questioning him.
Instead, she simply looked at Bushra once more before turning back to Vikram. "She'll probably sleep for quite a while," Sana said softly.
