It's early morning and they're in the Tsunami courtyard, waiting for the school doors to open. Not far from them, Zaira and Ren are making out — Ren against a low wall, Zaira pinned against him.
It's been exactly a month since Ren Toya's showdown with Axel Volkom, and nobody's caused trouble since.
"If you ask me, she didn't straighten out — she turned him into a complete degenerate. Now that Zaira's living with them, they'll be getting up to God knows what every night. Do they really have to suck face at school in front of everyone too?" Mia grumbles.
Suddenly, someone grabs them from behind — an arm locked around Mia and Chris's necks. Leon Thzraneel.
"What are you always bitching about, Mia? Aren't you just jealous of Zaira? Wish you had a hot guy to kiss you like Ren does with her? Maybe our Chris can do something about that."
