The apartment door flies open.
Eliss stands on the threshold, eyes burning with rage as she fixes on Miori — though Aoshi, of course, can't tell that fury is meant only for her.
His guilt hits him like a wave — the sick feeling of a husband caught with his lover.
Miori meets her gaze, nervous but defiant. Then an arrogant smirk spreads across her face and she grinds her bare breast against Aoshi's back.
"Get away from him, you filthy whore," Eliss hisses, jabbing a finger at Miori.
"Or what?"
"P-Please, girls — calm down!" Aoshi stammers, prying Miori's hands away.
"You've got some nerve coming here after what you did to Aoshi!" Eliss snaps, her finger still jabbing at Miori like a gun barrel.
"W-Wait — about what happened..." Aoshi cuts in again. "It was all a huge misunderstanding... Miori only did what she did because Renji forced her — not because she wanted to. I'm not mad at her, and neither should you be."
This time, Eliss's murderous eyes snap to him.
