"In three months, I've never seen you get this excited about anything the way you did today when you set that new high score at the arcade," Aoshi comments with a small, puzzled smile as he helps Eliss wash the dishes after dinner.
"I am the Princess of the Kingdom of Ravessia, not some ordinary girl. It would have been inconceivable for someone with my reflexes to lose to a mere video game," Eliss replies. "Anyway, we're going back tomorrow! I've already told Ayane that we're going to smash every record in that place, one after another!"
"Was that Ayane's idea?" Aoshi asks somewhat hesitantly.
"No, I asked her, and she agreed, although she didn't seem particularly enthusiastic about it. She's probably afraid she's finally found someone who's just as good as she is at shooters."
"I-I see..."
Given the circumstances, it's obvious that Ayane had no choice but to go along with it, even though she knows that in just a few hours Eliss will be gone forever...
