The moonlight was like water, reflecting the dancing light in Liu Ruyan's eyes.
She led A Yao back to their residence and settled her Eldest Senior Sister, who was already feeling a bit sleepy.
Watching her drift off to sleep, a satisfied smile still lingered on her small face.
The events of today had truly been a bit too overwhelming for her.
Gu Luoli was her Junior Sister, and Yun Miaoyi was an Elder of the Immortal Palace—it all felt like a dream.
Having truly stepped into this Immortal Palace and personally felt her Master's unfathomable methods,
after witnessing her fellow disciples each possessing world-shaking talents, everything else seemed insignificant.
Her perspective was gradually broadening.
"What Master wants to create is likely not just a Sect that dominates a single region, but a supreme legacy that will be famous across the entire continent!"
Liu Ruyan's heart pounded.
Her Eldest Senior Sister's mysterious origin, her Third Junior Sister's Heaven-Defying Double Pupils, Elder Yun's terrifying talent in the Dao of Alchemy... compared to these fellow disciples around her, her own "talent" didn't seem particularly outstanding.
"Cultivation! I must increase my Cultivation as soon as possible!"
A burning fighting spirit ignited in Liu Ruyan's eyes.
She no longer hesitated, immediately closing her eyes to concentrate and beginning to Cultivate.
Her mind quickly sank into her Cultivation.
The night passed quietly.
When the first light of dawn filtered through the window lattice and fell upon Liu Ruyan, she slowly exhaled a long breath.
A sharp light flashed in her eyes before vanishing, and her aura was slightly more solid than the night before.
"It's time to prepare breakfast for Eldest Senior Sister."
Liu Ruyan stood up, stretched her limbs, and a gentle smile appeared on her face.
Taking care of A Yao was a task Master had given her, and it was also something she was genuinely happy to do.
When she arrived at A Yao's room carrying carefully prepared spiritual rice porridge and a few refreshing side dishes,
the little one had already put on her small dress and was sitting on the edge of the bed, hugging the flowing light lotus platform, her little feet swinging back and forth.
"Second Junior Sister! You're here!"
A Yao's eyes lit up when she saw her, and she called out in a crisp voice.
"Good morning, Eldest Senior Sister."
Liu Ruyan smiled as she placed the food box on the table, then walked over to help her straighten her slightly crooked hair bun.
"Come and eat; I cooked the spiritual rice porridge you like today."
"Yay!"
A Yao cheered, put down the lotus platform, and sat obediently at the table.
Seeing A Yao's cute appearance as she sipped the porridge in small mouthfuls, Liu Ruyan's heart softened.
"Second Junior Sister, you eat too!"
A Yao scooped up a spoonful of porridge and held it to Liu Ruyan's lips, her large eyes filled with sincerity.
Liu Ruyan was slightly startled, a warm current flowing through her heart as she smiled:
"Thank you, Eldest Senior Sister."
"You're welcome! Master Mommy said that good things should be shared!"
A Yao giggled, taking a bite herself and then insisting on feeding Liu Ruyan a bite, having a great time.
After the warm breakfast time, Liu Ruyan led A Yao out of the room, planning to take her for a walk around the Immortal Palace to help with digestion.
Not long after they walked out, they encountered Gu Luoli, who was also coming out of the Pure Sound Pavilion.
"Good morning, Eldest Senior Sister. Good morning, Second Senior Sister."
Gu Luoli's complexion was much better than yesterday. Golden light flickered within her Double Pupils, and she looked radiant as she glanced around.
"Good morning, Third Junior Sister."
Liu Ruyan responded with a smile, her gaze lingering on her as she praised her in her heart.
One with Double Pupils is indeed extraordinary; even with just the initial Awakening, this spiritual charm and temperament already far exceed those of ordinary people.
"Luoli was just about to go look for Second Senior Sister."
Gu Luoli stepped forward and said somewhat bashfully,
"I'm still not very familiar with the Immortal Palace, so I wanted to ask Second Senior Sister to show me around and help me learn my way."
"Sure, I was just about to take Eldest Senior Sister for a walk anyway. Let's go together."
The three of them walked slowly together along the banks of the Jade Lake.
Liu Ruyan patiently introduced the functions of the various halls and the things to keep in mind to Gu Luoli.
A Yao, meanwhile, was like a happy little butterfly, running back and forth in front of them.
Sometimes she would squat down to look at the Spiritual Plants by the roadside, and sometimes she would point at the swimming fish in the lake with a cry of surprise.
When they reached an area near the eastern side of the Immortal Palace,
a clear and melodious sword hum faintly echoed from a mist-shrouded peak in the distance.
That Sword Intent was solitary and transcendent; even from such a distance, it still made Gu Luoli's heart tremble.
"What is that place?"
"That is Snow Moon Peak, the Cultivation place of the Grand Elder."
Liu Ruyan looked toward Snow Moon Peak, her eyes showing reverence.
"The Grand Elder's sword dao is profound, and her Cultivation is unfathomable!"
"Grand Elder..."
Gu Luoli made a mental note.
To be described this way by Second Senior Sister and to hold the position of Grand Elder, her strength must be far beyond imagination.
"So you're all here..."
While they were talking, a gentle voice came from the side.
The three turned their heads to see Yun Miaoyi approaching gracefully.
She held a Jade Slip in her hand, seemingly recording something.
After a night of adjustment, she had fully mastered her new body.
"Elder Yun."
Liu Ruyan and Gu Luoli quickly bowed in greeting, and A Yao also called out politely.
"There's no need for such formalities."
Yun Miaoyi smiled and waved her hand, her gaze sweeping over the three of them, lingering especially on Gu Luoli for a moment.
"Luoli has recovered well. Your Foundation is solid, and the spiritual charm of your Double Pupils has already emerged. Very good."
"Thank you for your concern, Elder Yun."
Gu Luoli said respectfully.
"I was just checking the Immortal Palace's ley lines and Spiritual Qi distribution,"
Yun Miaoyi raised the Jade Slip in her hand.
"The 'Myriad Phenomena Medicinal Garden' that the Palace Master intends to establish is incredibly profound and can simulate all kinds of environments."
"I am looking for the nodes where the Spiritual Qi and ley lines intersect to place it there, so it can achieve its maximum effect."
Hearing this, Liu Ruyan's heart stirred.
The Myriad Phenomena Medicinal Garden?
This must be another of Master's supreme treasures. It seems the Immortal Palace's Alchemy Pavilion will soon be officially operational.
"Does Elder Yun need any help?" Liu Ruyan asked proactively.
"Not for the time being."
Yun Miaoyi smiled.
"This matter cannot be rushed. You all go ahead; I still need to check other places."
After saying that, she continued walking toward the depths of the Immortal Palace.
"Elder Yun will surely be a major pillar of our Immortal Palace in the future."
Liu Ruyan sighed with emotion as she watched her retreating figure.
