Chapter 66 - The “Gate of Babylon”!

"Holy shit!"

Leon crushed the chunk of Vibranium ore in his hand, eyes blazing with excitement.

Wakanda really lived up to the hype. First visit—and he'd already hit a jackpot.

But this wasn't just some "Vibranium Miner" skill.

In Leon's mind, it translated into four glorious words—

Gate of Babylon.

"System," he grinned, "give me a ten-pull. Let's see what you've got."

[Auto-Mining in progress…]

Only Leon could see the interface.

Every second, a result flashed before him—text and animation paired together like a loot-opening sequence.

Ten seconds later—

[Today's Auto-Mining complete.]

Total Yield: 18 kg Vibranium + 1000 kg Adamantium.]

"…You're not even pretending anymore, huh?"

One thousand kilograms of Adamantium.

Straight to the vault.

Though honestly—

The Vibranium felt a little light.

Leon turned back toward T'Chaka and T'Challa, who stood stiffly like guests in their own home.

In a blur, Leon reappeared beside them from several hundred meters away.

"T'Chaka, T'Challa—my friends."

"This is incredible. To think Wakanda has developed its technology to this extent using Vibranium alone."

"If this were told to the outside world, few would believe it."

His eyes narrowed slightly, a faint smirk playing at his lips.

"Mr. Leon," T'Chaka replied humbly, "Wakanda is but a small nation. We have remained isolated for too long. We are not yet ready to integrate with the outside world."

"Oh?" Leon raised a brow. "And what are you proposing?"

"You came for Vibranium," T'Chaka said solemnly. "Wakanda is willing to provide you with a steady supply of refined raw Vibranium—free of charge."

"In exchange, we ask only that you keep our secret."

He bowed deeply.

T'Challa opened his mouth to protest—

But a single look from his father silenced him.

Leon burst into laughter.

"Easy, easy. T'Chaka, you are my eternal friend."

He helped the king upright.

Their eyes met.

Two old foxes sealing an unspoken agreement.

Only T'Challa remained confused.

They had clearly suffered damage—so why was his father smiling?

Why was he practically insisting on gifting Vibranium?

Leon hadn't even demanded it.

A Week in Wakanda

T'Chaka and T'Challa personally escorted Leon around Wakanda for over a week.

The futuristic skyline lost its novelty quickly—steel forests and advanced transit systems.

Leon had little interest in Wakanda's outer natural beauty.

He was scouting for sign-in opportunities.

The verdict?

Nothing topped Vibranium Miner.

Absolute S-tier.

At one point, Princess Shuri tried to join the tour—

But T'Chaka firmly forbade it.

A father's last line of defense.

Leon almost laughed.

First, Shuri was still underage.

Second—

Her "aesthetic profile" simply didn't align with his preferences.

Brilliant? Absolutely.

His type?

Absolutely not.

Departure

At sunset, Leon soared into the sky—

Carrying a massive Vibranium-filled cargo container like a grocery basket.

T'Chaka had also insisted he take two Heart-Shaped Herbs.

Leon hadn't even asked.

The Vibranium barrier opened briefly to let him pass—

Then sealed shut behind him.

Only then did T'Challa voice what had been bothering him.

"Father, why give Leon Stark free Vibranium? And even Heart-Shaped Herbs?"

"How is that not selling out our nation?"

T'Chaka placed a hand on his son's shoulder.

"As king, you must learn to see beyond appearances."

"Has your mother never taught you not to strike a smiling guest?"

"This was the best possible outcome."

"We lost some Vibranium and two herbs."

"In exchange, we gained an ally powerful enough to destroy Wakanda."

He shifted aside, revealing the partially damaged central city.

"Did you truly not see it?"

T'Challa fell silent.

Today, he learned something fundamental—

Weakness is not a sin.

Ignorance is.

Malibu Mansion – Less Than One Hour Later

At full speed, Leon returned home in under an hour.

Tony was already waiting outside.

When he saw Leon descending from the sky with an entire cargo container of Vibranium—

He froze.

"My God…"

"That's so much Vibranium…"

"Leon, did you rob Wakanda blind?!"

"Nonono," Leon said smugly. "This? Barely a scratch."

He set the container down and recounted his Wakandan adventure.

Arcee projected a near-perfect 3D reconstruction of the events.

Tony watched the accelerated playback—

And felt his worldview shatter.

He had already found Shuri oddly knowledgeable at the Stark Expo.

Now?

He only had one reaction.

"They're all a bunch of sly bastards."

"They're sitting on an entire mountain of Vibranium while the outside world auctions it at ten or twenty thousand dollars per gram!"

"That's criminal!"

He started calculating.

Then stopped.

Brain short-circuited.

"…There's actually something on Earth I can't afford?"

For Tony Stark—

That might've been the most shocking revelation of all.
