Chapter 114 - Lord Leon’s Kindness Can Never Be Repaid

"Darling, it's nothing serious. Don't cry."

Leon gently wiped the tears from Diana's face.

This time—

Queen Hippolyta did not intervene.

What has been will be again. What has been done will be done again.

As long as Leon was not their enemy… and as long as Diana acted of her own will…

Hippolyta neither wished nor possessed the ability to interfere further.

Leon then retrieved the Regeneration Cradle from his System Storage Space.

Without hesitation, he performed what looked like a horrifying thoracic incision, reopening Antiope's chest to fully expose the damaged lung tissue—allowing the Cradle's precision bio-fabrication system to conduct three-dimensional tissue reconstruction.

During the procedure—

To prevent fatal blood loss, Hippolyta personally volunteered as a transfusion donor for her sister.

Soon—

Antiope's torn lung, ruptured vessels, and the massive chest wound were restored flawlessly.

No scar.

No trace of injury.

"Antiope!"

The moment she stepped out of the Regeneration Cradle, Diana threw her arms around her.

"Incredible…"

"This isn't magic. It's… technology?"

Hippolyta stared at the device in awe and turned to Leon.

"Of course," Leon replied lightly.

"You know, Queen Hippolyta, I'm merely a powerless mortal now—my divine power sealed. All I can rely on are a few human tricks."

He waved his heavily bandaged arm as if to emphasize his "helplessness."

Then—

Without waiting for Hippolyta to ask—

Leon began calling the wounded Amazons forward one by one for treatment.

"The seriously injured first!"

He paused.

"…I mean, the most urgent cases first."

Nearly every Amazon bore some wound.

With Antiope as living proof and Hippolyta's approval granted—

Leon and the Regeneration Cradle were quickly surrounded by a sea of long legs and short skirts.

Most were tall and powerfully built, but not without their share of bronze-skinned beauties with athletic grace.

The enthusiasm was overwhelming.

For a moment, Leon felt as though he had returned to Asgard.

"One at a time! No pushing!"

"Hey—hands where I can see them!"

Watching him command such attention, Diana felt an inexplicable sense of pride.

A warm, almost maternal smile curved on her lips.

Nearby, Hippolyta and Antiope exchanged glances—resigned, helpless.

It had been less than a day.

And already, Leon's "kindness" toward the Amazons had become immeasurable.

Like a frog being slowly boiled, they felt a creeping loss of agency.

At this rate—

If Diana "graduated" in a matter of days, they would not be surprised.

Thanks to the System's abundant supply of regenerative bio-fluid among Leon's so-called "junk rewards," every Amazon—inside and out—was thoroughly restored.

"Lord Leon's kindness can never be repaid."

That was the collective sentiment among the Amazons.

The Bronze Hall

When Steve Trevor was brought forward again—

Leon had already ascended to the status of honored guest, seated even above Queen Hippolyta in prestige.

Several Amazons physically guided him—almost forcibly—onto the main throne.

"What are you doing? This is inappropriate! You're putting me in a difficult position! There's really no need for this—ah, truly unnecessary…"

"Odinson! Odinson! Odinson!"

Though he protested verbally, Leon's posture told a different story.

Once seated, he did not move an inch.

The Amazons—having witnessed 2B's Divine Annihilation Cannon and benefited from Leon's regenerative technology—chanted his name in unison.

It truly felt like Asgard again.

To be fair—

2B's single shot had shattered the Amazons' lingering dream of slaying gods.

Aside from Hippolyta and Antiope—who understood Diana's true potential—most Amazons were spiritually overwhelmed.

Fleet-erasing cannon fire plus miracle healing technology?

Divinity had manifested before their eyes.

"What the hell?!"

"Can someone tell me what happened?!"

Steve stared in disbelief at Leon—who, mere hours ago, had seemed just another captive.

Now he sat enthroned.

This had to be a dream.

Was he conscious?

"Silence."

Hippolyta's command stilled the hall instantly.

Leon, however, winked mischievously at Diana.

She burst into laughter before she could stop herself.

Every head turned toward her.

Her face flushed crimson. She lowered her head so fast she nearly disappeared into her own chest.

The scene shifted.

As before—

General Antiope bound Steve Trevor with the Lasso of Truth.

Hippolyta questioned him.

"I—I—I…"

Unlike Leon, Steve had no resistance whatsoever.

Under the Lasso's influence, he quickly confessed everything.

He was a Captain in the American Expeditionary Forces, assigned covertly to British Intelligence—embedded as a spy pilot near General Erich Ludendorff of the German High Command.

Intelligence had learned that Ludendorff was en route to a secret laboratory.

Steve's mission had been simple: discover what they were developing.

Germany was already stretched thin—surrounded, resources depleted, nearing collapse.

Yet when Steve finally infiltrated close enough—

He overheard Ludendorff speaking with his chief advisor:

Dr. Isabel Maru.

A masked chemist.

They were developing a new weapon—

A chemical gas capable of devastating entire battlefronts.

"They're forcing Turkish civilians to manufacture weapons around the clock," Steve said hoarsely.

"Anyone who collapses gets dragged off for gas testing."

"If Ludendorff and Dr. Maru complete that formula, millions could die."

"This war—already a meat grinder—will never end."

"My orders were to observe and report."

"But the plot was nearly complete. I had to act."

"I stole Dr. Maru's notebook—the near-finished gas formula."

"I destroyed their munitions stockpile with a grenade and escaped by plane."

"That's why they won't stop chasing me."

"That's how I crashed here."

He looked around the hall.

"Listen, you primitive—"

"Hmm?" ×N

A dozen Amazon glares cut him off.

"I mean—noble Amazons. May your lives remain peaceful."

"But you cannot imagine how dangerous this weapon is."

"I must deliver that notebook to British Intelligence."

"It could save millions."

"It could end this war."

Diana stepped forward.

"This is Ares."

"It must be Ares—the God of War—manipulating events from the shadows."

"…What?"

"God of War?"

Steve blinked.

He had just delivered a speech about geopolitics, chemical warfare, and military intelligence—

And she responded with mythological conspiracy.

"I'm talking about science and strategy," he said slowly.

"You're talking about gods?"

"Excuse me?"
