Homelander: Monster Body
"Hmm?"
"Why won't it come out…?"
Sersi frowned slightly in confusion.
A black hoodie—one that both men and women could wear—had somehow gotten stuck inside her wardrobe. No matter how she tugged at it, it wouldn't come free. Yet she was afraid that pulling too hard might tear the fabric.
At that moment—
Knock, knock, knock.
A knock sounded from the open doorway.
Leon stood leaning sideways against the doorframe, arms crossed, a faint smile tugging at the corner of his lips.
"Need some help?"
Sersi sighed with a small smile and gestured for Leon to come in.
With the homeowner's permission, Leon stepped into Sersi's bedroom.
"Small but complete."
That was Leon's evaluation.
Sersi clearly loved vintage-style objects. She had decorated her room to resemble something like a medieval noble's chamber.
None of the furniture was particularly luxurious, yet somehow the entire room carried that atmosphere.
It had to be said—
Sersi had excellent taste in interior design.
Leon walked over to the solid wooden wardrobe.
The clothes she wore often hung neatly on hangers in the center. The ones she rarely wore were folded carefully and stacked on both sides.
They formed two small "mountains."
If everything had been hung up instead, the closet probably wouldn't have had enough space.
One glance was enough for Leon to tell—
Sersi was a somewhat nostalgic person with mild obsessive–compulsive tendencies.
"Sorry… it probably looks messy."
Sersi brushed a strand of hair behind her ear, looking a little embarrassed—even though it was her own room.
"It's nice," Leon replied.
"Let me try."
He grabbed the hoodie and gave it a strong tug.
The hoodie came free—
but one of the "mountains" of folded clothes collapsed with it, burying both Leon and Sersi before they could react.
"Careful," Leon called instinctively.
By the time Sersi realized what had happened, she had already fallen to the floor.
More precisely—
she had fallen on top of Leon.
Leon lay on the ground acting as a cushion. One arm wrapped around her waist while the other protected the back of her head.
For a moment—
even superpowers seemed irrelevant.
Sersi lifted her head.
Their eyes met.
They could clearly feel each other's breath against their faces.
Warm.
Ticklish.
Heavy with the scent of hormones.
In that instant—
Sersi's affection toward Leon naturally crossed the threshold of 90.
Then, following the instincts of the moment, she leaned down.
The kiss wasn't passionate, nor particularly skilled.
It felt as though she hadn't done something like this in a very long time.
Leon looked almost like prey that had been pinned down—
while Sersi was the hunter who had caught him.
Until a shocked voice suddenly came from outside the door.
"What are you doing?!"
Sersi instantly snapped back to reality.
Her cheeks flushed slightly as she hurriedly climbed off Leon and turned her back to Sprite, stiffly organizing the clothes that had fallen from the wardrobe.
"My dear, it was just a beautiful accident," Leon explained calmly.
"The water's ready."
Sprite muttered the words half-heartedly before returning to her room.
Seeing this, Leon and Sersi exchanged a glance.
Then they both smiled—
like children who had been caught doing something mischievous.
After Leon finished showering, Sersi went next.
There was only one shared bathroom.
Before Leon arrived, only the two girls had lived here, and the somewhat nostalgic Sersi had never bothered to move into a more modern apartment.
Meanwhile, Sprite shut herself in her room, clearly upset.
Her love story had ended before it even truly began.
It was always like this.
People around her always treated her like a child.
And in truth—
that wasn't entirely wrong.
Even though Sprite was over five thousand years old, her body remained that of a young girl.
Perhaps because of that, her mindset still resembled someone experiencing their first stirrings of affection.
In everyday life—
Sersi was both like a sister and a mother to her.
Click.
Leon opened a can of ice-cold soda and lounged comfortably on the sofa.
On the television, the news was reporting that Captain America—Steve Rogers had once again taken down another criminal operation.
During peaceful times, the recently revived Captain America had become the undeniable workhorse of the Avengers.
Compared with the covert missions carried out by Natasha Romanoff and Clint Barton, Steve Rogers had both the highest public exposure and the largest number of completed missions.
Leon, who basically "clocked in and clocked out" whenever he felt like it, couldn't understand why Rogers had so much motivation.
Leon, a "young man" in his forties, already felt ready to lie flat and relax.
Meanwhile, ninety-year-old Steve Rogers was still charging into action.
Leon could only say—
the more hardworking superhero laborers like him there were, the better.
After all—
they were protecting Leon's Earth.
Watching the pre-recorded news interview between Captain America and journalist Christine Everhart, Leon casually stroked Bast, who had transformed into a cute cat-like form lying on his lap.
At that moment, Arcee's mature voice sounded in his ear.
"Leon, Happy is calling."
"Happy? Oh right—I forgot to tell him about the third Homelander movie."
"Put him through."
Leon's Observation Haki had already glimpsed a few seconds into the future—Happy complaining dramatically.
Beep—Connection established.
"Hey, Happy. What's up?"
Leon answered while lazily rubbing Bast's soft belly.
"Leon, I've almost finished outlining the story for the third Homelander movie. Take a look and see what you think—"
"Oh, sorry, Happy."
Leon interrupted before he even heard the details.
"Your script is probably great, but I've got an even better idea. You might have to start over."
"WHAT?!"
On the other end of the line, Happy's smile froze as his soul nearly shattered.
"Listen," Leon said.
"The third Homelander film will be called—
Homelander: Monster Body."
The story would begin with a catastrophic scene similar to the Battle of New York.
Picking up from the previous film:
After suffering defeat and escaping, Dr. Happy refuses to accept failure. He gathers the DNA of Earth's greatest superheroes and powerful creatures.
Using them, he creates an artificial super-being—
"World Destroyer: Decade."
His attempt to rise again.
In truth, this creation possesses the power to crush the Avengers—everyone except Leon.
Even Leon might eventually be countered if he stopped growing stronger.
The opening scene:
The World Destroyer Decade stands upon a heavenly throne, effortlessly defeating the Avengers while Leon is absent.
The greatest crisis in Earth's history.
At the moment of ultimate despair—
Homelander Leon returns from training, transforming into a hundred-meter titan.
With overwhelming power, he destroys the World Destroyer.
Then the narrative shifts into flashback.
The film explores how Leon became that colossal beast.
The true theme of the movie:
Humanity.
After accidentally entering the Hollow Earth and inheriting the power of Godzilla—the King of Monsters and Earth's Guardian, Leon must confront a question:
Is he still human?
Possessing unprecedented power, he struggles between the identities of human and monster, searching for his true self.
That—
is the story of Homelander: Monster Body.
Even the trailer was already imagined.
First scene:
The Avengers crushed beneath the World Destroyer.
Second scene:
Flashes of the mysterious Hollow Earth, revealing a hidden world of monsters.
Final scene:
At the peak of the highest mountain.
Countless monstrous corpses lie at the base.
Leon stands bare-chested, muscles scarred yet stronger than ever.
In his arms lies a glowing golden woman—
Mothra.
Her body dissolves into light as she sacrifices herself.
The final shot—
Leon looks to the sky.
With a furious roar—
a beam of blue-white atomic breath erupts upward through the Hollow Earth passage.
Announcing the arrival of a god.
After hearing the idea, Happy fell silent for a long time.
Finally he said:
"It sounds crazy… but the monster-human tragedy, the inheritance of Earth's guardian, the Hollow Earth concept—it massively expands the worldbuilding."
"For a blockbuster movie, if the director doesn't screw it up, it'll definitely be a huge hit."
Compared with that, Happy's original script suddenly felt far more conservative.
After finalizing the outline, Leon hung up the call.
The reason he introduced the Godzilla concept was simple:
To slowly raise public acceptance.
Just in case—
one day he actually transformed into Godzilla himself.
Better to establish the origin through a movie first.
At that moment—
Sersi finished showering and sat beside Leon, wearing a light silk nightgown.
Her eyes were slightly red.
"Hey, what's wrong?" Leon asked gently.
After confirming with Observation Haki that Sprite had already fallen asleep in her room, Leon casually placed an arm around Sersi's shoulders.
Sersi rested her head on his shoulder.
"What happens to Mothra after that?" she asked softly.
"Will she meet Leon again someday?"
Leon smiled.
"Of course."
"Didn't she say so? They'll meet again."
"Probably in the fourth movie."
"If you're interested, Sersi, you could help think about the future plot too."
"If it's good, I'll have Happy use it."
"Thank you, Leon."
Sersi sighed softly.
"We only met today… but somehow it feels like I've known you for a very long time."
"It's strange… but I'm happy."
Leon's arm slid down to rest around her waist.
Sersi adjusted her position slightly against his shoulder.
To an outsider—
they would look like a couple deeply in love.
It was hard to imagine they had met only one day ago.
Perhaps—
that was simply the charm of numbers.
