Chapter 84 - Chapter 84: Are You a Yeagerist?

"I don't know. My ability isn't to foresee the future. Was there even a scene like that in the story?" Winyaad asked, confused.

"You haven't seen No Regrets, Levi's side story?" Chen Si seemed to realize something.

"No. What's that? A spin-off?" Winyaad asked, starting to understand.

"Uh… yeah. Looks like finishing the whole series has its advantages." Chen Si paused, then his tone suddenly turned serious. "Then let me ask you something else—are you a Yeagerist?"

This question mattered the most to him. As a fellow transmigrator, her stance was crucial.

"What 'Yeagerist'? What are you talking about? Never heard of it. Don't try to hit on me." Winyaad rolled her eyes.

"What? You don't even know what a Yeagerist is?!" Chen Si raised his voice in shock.

Erwin and Levi both glanced over.

"What's a Yeagerist? You mean turning Eren into a pie? That's even more cruel than Levi… but I like it!" Hange suddenly got excited again.

"Huh?!" Eren looked horrified. What's wrong with Chen Si…?

Chen Si was speechless, holding his forehead, feeling like an alien who couldn't communicate with Earthlings.

"Chen Si, you seem troubled," Erwin said calmly.

"It's nothing. Just discussing some hometown cuisine with Chis," Chen Si sighed.

"I see." Erwin didn't press further, but his eyes lingered. He had a feeling Chen Si might hold clues about the truth beyond the walls.

"So what is it really?" Winyaad asked, realizing Chen Si wasn't joking.

Chen Si pulled her into the hallway and shut the door behind them.

Erwin frowned slightly.

"What could Chen Si be hiding from us? And why is he specifically talking to Chis? Do they know each other well?" Hange muttered, puzzled.

"Tch. Kids and their nonsense. He's probably just thinking with something other than his brain," Levi said dismissively.

Miche, who had been by the window catching scents, glanced toward the hallway, a trace of concern in his eyes.

"Are you about to confess to me?" Winyaad teased, flipping her long hair and swaying slightly, deliberately showing off her charm.

"I'm being serious. Have you watched Attack on Titan?" Chen Si asked sternly.

"I've finished it. Why?" Winyaad replied, confused but now serious as well.

"Then why don't you know about the Yeagerists? In the future, Eren will try to destroy the world. Which side are you on—support him or oppose him?" Chen Si frowned and asked in a low voice.

Even he was conflicted.

Destroying the world was too cruel—countless innocent lives, children and women, would be trampled to death by the Rumbling. But if it didn't happen, Paradis Island would inevitably be destroyed.

He wanted an answer—from someone else.

Chen Si had grown up in a peaceful era. In his past life, he had been an ordinary student—someone who couldn't even watch a chicken being slaughtered without discomfort. Even when he killed traffickers, he had hesitated, leading to tragic consequences for the Ackerman family.

Killing enemies in battle… he could accept now.

But slaughtering countless innocents?

He didn't know how to choose.

"What are you talking about? What 'destroy the world'? Didn't the ending show everyone reaching the sea?" Winyaad looked completely lost.

"Huh? The sea? That's not the ending!" Chen Si stared at her in disbelief.

"'The enemies are beyond the sea'—wasn't that Eren's final line?" Winyaad fell into thought. She had only watched up to that point before transmigrating.

"That's the end of Season 3. In the manga, Eren unleashes the Rumbling and wipes out 80% of humanity," Chen Si explained, finally understanding.

"So you didn't finish it."

"But this time, Eren's mother didn't die. Maybe he won't trigger the Rumbling," Chen Si added after thinking for a moment.

"What's his motive? Revenge for his mother? That alone shouldn't push him to such extremes. There must be another reason," Winyaad analyzed calmly, her instincts as a former agent kicking in.

"If there is another reason, then his mother's death wasn't the real cause."

"Eren experienced countless timelines through the power of the Attack Titan," Chen Si explained. "He saw many endings where Paradis was destroyed. He chose global destruction for the sake of his friends."

"Timelines…" Winyaad narrowed her eyes.

"Have you considered this—when Eren saved Mikasa as a child, how could he have had the skill and nerve to kill two traffickers? Doesn't that seem strange?"

"Eren's personality is reckless. He doesn't think about consequences… maybe that explains it," Chen Si said after a moment. "As for killing them… yeah, maybe he was just lucky."

"Was it really luck?" Winyaad pressed. "Think again. Compare his behavior—what's the same, and what's different from the original story?"

"Different… Eren once dreamed about me. That means I'm not just an outsider—and you might appear in his dreams too," Chen Si said, brushing back his hair as he recalled.

"Mhm." Winyaad nodded for him to continue.

"As for similarities, his hatred for Titans seems the same as in the original. Though at first, when Aunt Carla didn't die, it felt weaker. Later, when I encouraged everyone to fight Titans, the whole group became enthusiastic—and Eren was just one of them."

Chen Si spoke slowly.

(It had to be said—his ability to influence others was remarkable. With enough quotes from historical figures, he could rally almost anyone. Only Erwin might rival him in that regard.)

"Besides you… who else could be planting hatred in Eren?" Winyaad suddenly asked, narrowing her eyes.

"Besides me?"

Chen Si fell silent, thinking deeply.

Then suddenly—

"Future Eren!" he exclaimed.

"Exactly!" Winyaad stepped closer, excited. "Now there's one more question—did Eren cry under that tree this time? That determines his future… and hints at the ending."

"Unfortunately, we probably didn't see it."

The events of Episode 1—'To You, 2000 Years From Now'—had happened when she wasn't by Eren's side.

"…No," Chen Si's pupils shrank.

"You saw it?" Winyaad immediately leaned in.

"He cried…" Chen Si said slowly, stunned. "But why…? Carla didn't die this time…"

Holding his temples, his mind raced.
