SMACK!!, "Mary stay away from me", she tried to slap me but I caught her hand mid- air,
SMACK!!, I slapped her again, "Never in your life should you dare hit me, I've been too calm lately, and you mistake my silence for weakness, be warned", I turned to walk away when she slapped me,
"You've been getting bold lately", I said with an evil smirk plastered on my face coupled an evil glare, which made her flinch, then without a word she lunged at me, I doged, again, I dodged, and finally my patience snapped.
I picked her up by the collar and slapped her with all my might and sure enough she was stunned, "What's going on here??, both of you to the principal's office", a furious voice asked, I looked and of course it was the school prefect, Mary took the opportunity to lie,
"Prefect, she started hitting me for no reason", she said crying,
"Don't bother with your tears, the cameras will tell us who hit who", I reminded, and calmly followed the prefect to the principal's office.
When we got there, we were asked to explain what happened from start to finish, each of us taking turns talking, footage from the security cameras caught everything, and Mary was suspended for two weeks.
I love my school for one reason, they don't condole fighting.
As Mary went on her suspension, school was peaceful and I was happy, at last few weeks of peace..
As I settled back into my peaceful school life, I couldn't help but notice the whispers from students, I didn't care.
But admist all the attention, I got a message from the school's queen bee, Jessica,
"She asked me to meet her at the cafeteria, should I go?", I asked Ethan and Austin,
"Go, see what she wants, it might be important", Ethan said,
"I don't agree, what business does Jessica have with you, what would she want from you, she's never reached out to you, why now?", of course, Classic Austin, he worries too much,
"I promise I'll be careful, you two shouldn't worry about me, after all, we're meeting in the cafeteria, there'll be lots of students there, so I'll be fine", I said trying to coax Austin, but he's not having any of it,
"Alright then, I'll go with you...", he said,
"But...",
"I'll sit at another table", he completed my sentence.
So we went to the cafeteria, and I spotted Jessica and her friends at their usual spot, so I made my way there, while Austin sat two tables away from us,
"Hey, I wanted to talk to you about what went down with Mary", Jessica said, her voice low and smooth, "I've been trying to stop her drama for weeks, but you did what needs to be done",
I raised an eyebrow, surprised by her approval, "Thanks, I guess",
"No seriously, students respect you now, and I think we could be friends, or ... something more",
I leaned back in my seat, intrigued by Jessica's bold move, "Something more, huh?", I said, a smirk playing on my face,
Jessica laughed, her eyes sparkling, "Maybe. But first, let's get one thing clear, you're coming to my party this Saturday, Austin's invited",
I raised an eyebrow, "Austin?"
"Yeah, Austin. If either Ethan or Austin doesn't come, I know they won't allow you to attend", she said,
"Alright we'll be there, thanks for the invite though", I said,
"You're welcome, 9pm sharp", she said,
"Alright", I said before leaving,
Austin and I met outside the cafeteria,
"So, what did she tell you?", he asked eagerly,
"At first she asked about how I dealt with Mary, then she started talking about a party th.....",
"You're not going!!", he cut me off,
"You're invited, you're coming with me, she said so herself", I said
"Really?", he asked skeptical,
"Really, with you there, I'll be fine", I assured him,
"Fine, I'll pick you up Saturday night", he said
"Ok", I said, and we walked away.
Saturday night

As we got to Jessica's house, she welcomed us warmly, she hugged me, but when she wanted to hug Austin but qhe held out his hand for a handshake, Jessica's smile faltered for a second, before she took her hand in his, my friends also attended the party.
The party was wild, dancing everywhere, some guys tried to talk to me but Austin just glared at them and they backed off. Austin and I aren't officially dating, but he agreed to wait till after highschool, so yeah if he said I'm his girlfriend, I wouldn't mind, because I'll be eventually.
But then a bold guy came up to me, ignoring Austin, "Hey there beautiful, can I get your number?",
Before I could respond, Austin replied to him, "Trying to talk with my girl, right in front of me?", he said in a low dangerous voice, which made the boy back off instantly,
Then suddenly the music went off, and someone shouted, 'Let's play truth or dare', and everyone agreed, Jessica was the one daring, and Austin was first,
"Austin, truth or dare?", she asked,
"Dare", he responded
"I dare you to kiss any girl here", she said,
"Alright", he said before looking at me, NO!!.
Too late he already pressed his lips to mine, then pulled back, wiping the moisture from my lips with his thumb.
I was embarrassed, Jessica looked shocked, my friends were about to burst with excitement, Austin looked smug.
The party dragged on, and on and I left with Austin,
"You're not angry are you?", he asked carefully,
"About what?", I asked confused,
"The kiss", he said,.and my ears turned red, I almost forgot about the kiss,
"What about it?", I said,
"You don't mind?", he asked
"No, I don't", I said
"So if I kissed you here, you wouldn't mind?", he said a knowing smirk playing on his face, he leaned in, and I started running, he caught up with me easily, and pulled me into his arms,
"I was just teasing you Ann, but if you want it you know what to say, right?", he said, looking serious,
Now I felt my whole face flush, and I buried my face in his chest, he laughed, his chest vibrated as he did so,
"No need to hide your blush princess, it's beautiful", he said.
